Members of their families could have been murdered and attributed them ghastly accidents or unfortunate fire outbreaks. It's easier to say blame the players now because Abacha's Era is gone. Check out what Malami is doing to lawyers, judges and the Judiciary at large.

Abacha was threatening them indirectly. The only people super eagles should have been worried about is Abacha and they made the right decision to save themselves. If they went for it, Abacha will be coming at them through the corner.
