Dr. Godwin Maduka has age on his side to still become governor in future. The same with Val Ozigbo of PDP. But for Maduka, he doesn't need all these shalaye. He needs to call Prof. Soludo and congratulate him immediately and if possible have a lunch with him. Then, he will start exploring possibility of joining APGA.

The fact is that Soludo first ran for governorship in 2009 under PDP and could have won if Pres. Yar'adua didn't die because his wife was Turai was backing Soludo. When Pres. Jonathan came on board, he jettisoned his own party's candidate and backed Peter Obi of APGA. From 2009 to 2021, Soludo joined APGA and garnered enough goodwill to run again and today, he is Governor-in-waiting. It is never an easy journey unless you a Tinubu as godfather.

Dr. Maduka needs to restrategize immediately. The first step in doing this is to send Alex back to Abuja and seek the counsel of some trusted Anambra elders to guide him on th next steps.

Simple as that... He should have thrown his weight around Prof after the primaries.
