Dsalvo: Please, leave East alone. If they like let them enslave their generation. I am Yoruba and I live in Lagos. Where are all these monies? I mean, these are recorded IGR. And you and I know that only half of what Lagos generates is recorded. Let's ask the relevant questions and stop all these irrational argument 1 Like 1 Share |

seguno2:It's unexposed people that think Bridges and flyovers is what attracts investors and a healthy population. How many people have run down to Uyo because of the roads and flyovers constructed by Akpabio?? What was written by your friend is absolute trash that can only impressed the unexposed and village minded people. It's countries that carry out projects as massive as the ones Lagos State govt is undertaking. I don't know where you guys get your info from, most likely from beer parlours. |

seguno2:This is my argument too but you must admit that, in Nigeria, our options of good leaders are limited. And ironically, Nigerians are only fixated on choosing among the bad leaders. The options we give ourselves are always between a thief and an incompetent dunce. The other better options, which are lesser parties, Nigerians will never notice them |

DOTian: ...but you failed to name the West African states and the projects for what reason? Because you are lying? Are the West African states also building 2 Metro rail lines at the same time? Are they also building the largest Rice Mill in sub-Sahara Africa.? Are they also building the largest deep seaport in West Africa? Are they also building the largest FTZ in West Africa? Are they home to the world's largest fertilizer plant and single train refinery in the world? Stop substituting facts with hatred, lies and bitterness. 4 Likes |

seguno2: Bottom line is that Lagos, by far and in a cesspool of misrule and leadership incompetence, remains the gold standard for all that is good, cutting edge and exemplary about Nigeria. It is therefore distastefully ironic that it is always you Igbos, with the most hideously misruled States in Nigeria, who always gather like feral Vultures to attack the leadership and administration of Lagos. Yet you deliberately feign ignorance of how your leaders in the SE are the biggest and most incompetent mismanagers of resources in Nigeria currently to then be spewing holier-than-thou puritanism over the affairs of Lagos. Shame on you. |

Ovamboland: Rivers own get serious coma and K-leg. Rivers is the richest state in Nigeria by money, oil wealth and very low 5 Million population, but progress stopped after Ameachi and the only thing Rivers is known for right now is flyover, that's all, nothing imaginative, nothing futuristic or visionary. Oil wealth or no oil wealth, Rivers is still the most indebted state in Nigeria after Lagos so exactly what happened to all the oil wealth and debts/ loans? So, I must agree with you, without oil, Rivers is absolutely nothing and even with oil wealth, it's still nothing and it's still the second most indebted state after Lagos. |

IPOB was also has great influence as to command yoruba youths to destroy Lagos and the youths did that. IPOB is obviously much more powerful than Awolowo, Tinubu and all of Yoruba land. Ovamboland: Take away federal investments Lagos is nothing.. And who says Lagos is not benefiting from oil receipts? Please where is the headquarters of Chevron, Mobil, Agip and Total in Nigeria? Where are 70% of oil servicing companies in Nigeria located? Take away these from Lagos and see how Lagos becomes useless.. If you don't know, Lagos benefits from the oil you are talking about more than any other state in Nigeria. |

Minjim: The fact that you asked that question means you are likely not a Lagosian. How come we don't see this kind of question when Lagos state commission projects, or when we post pictures of all the wonderful projects they commission? Or the money they fund the projects with falls from the tree? Was it not the same funds they are constructing the 2 metro rail line with? What about the housing estates, Imota the largest rice mill in sub Africa, roads and bridges, including the best and the most beautiful bridge in Nigeria, the Lekki Ikoyi bridge that Nollywood can not wait to show in all their movies and shows? I guess people like you have selective brains and eyesight, you only see when it convenient and blind when it's time to be mischievous. |
