baralatie:War is one of disadvantages of engaging in international trade. Ethiopian Tigrey conflict is nothing better described as war. Its just like Bill Gates citing his Microsoft factory in Borno State., in Nigeria before boko haram started without studying the environment' past , present and future threats. Before entering into international trade, a high level of feasibility studies is necessary. Find out the potential vulnerability of the region vis a vis, the historical background of the area. Due diligence is also key. Ethiopia was potentially a conflict zone going by the antecedents. It could have been avoided. I hope the insurance company would be able to give him a succour, should the unexpected happen. Dangote is one of us. I pray his assets there are secure. |

@Plat0 Please, show us the company your soludo has like this. Which investment he has. You are comparing Dangote to Soludo. See, let him have 1,000 professorship appointments, he will always say yes sir to business men. Let him declare his assets and let us see. It seems you overrate public servants. What he has compared to what Sanusi the banished Emir of Kano is toilet paper rolls. A beg, Soludo is good and brilliant and the right guy for Anambra now, but let him shut up and do what ibos appointed him to do. Being a professor as 30 is not a big deal. When he has the capability to influence other nations, he can talk. |

Ladiesdoctor:Oil dey your head. He is a chief destroyer of Nigerian economy. The northern elites with some other mafians across Nigeria queued behind him to deliberately destroy Nigeria economy because of Buhari stupidity and rigidity. Only few knows this. |

Eriokanmi:How is international trade in Ethiopia responsible for the tigray war because Eritea has never prospered after it's ending of it's war with Ethiopia. Rather eritea has been the source of rebel and male migrants moving to Libya to europe Likewise somalia.somalia.is.worse.because it's rebels and alshabab is seriously disturbing Kenya (again using the political divide of Kenyatta and his rival as excuse) |

27Pushing30:That is what is going to happen downstream! Just look at the cycle of war in Ethiopia First it was Ethiopia vs eritea war Then it was eritea vs tigray war(shortlived) Now it is Ethiopia vs tigray As of present it is Ethiopia vs tigray plus all ethnic rebels residing in Ethiopia war Obviously we will now have tigray vs other rebels war |

GoodLord95:He can't get the attention of the 9 groups but since Orom people are now part of the rebels, he can make them see how important that asset is to the tribe regardless of the outcome of the crisis by so doing the Orom people will be at the fore front in protecting the asset. |

27Pushing30:yes.. Humans should stop forcing people into all these creations. It should be simply done by willful choice. Africa is a clan based society and the earlier we accept this reality, the better. To avoid all these, build a society that is not centralized What started all these problems was when Ethiopian prime minister started centralizing the country and appointing his tribe into key federal positions. Lol, that can cause war. What Buhari did with nepotism could have caused war anywhere. That is why USA today is not centralized, that is why UK is not centralized. That is why u could see small countries in Europe based on their tribe and language. Centralizing any country in a multi ethinic society is dangerious. No ethnic group would love to be dominated. Nigeria also has to be sincere and stop all these ethnic domination shit else it will surely explode. |

alizma:Of course it hurts bad Ethiopia worked hard to get it's economy back on track it started to attract foreign investors. It has developed economic blue print that spilled over to and from Kenya! But like I said when somalia now experienced break down (again as a result of crisis) then we had classhes of interest with some of its neighbour notably eritea! It was not long for crisis to start. But the Ethiopians themselves are the ones who dug up this problem.of regents there where research whereby it was realized that segments of people who were left behind in development and identity of Ethiopia. It is this mismanagement that became the hole the war mongers now used to bring back the wild wild east africa |

Princedapace:Good submission. But does one cut off his own head because he is down with headache? These pockets of violence is putting Africa into greater mess. After destroying all they can, then the rebels and the state goes into negotiation. Why not negotiate in the first instance? Why resort to 'Jumping the Gun approach'! And who need to hear this: War is not lucrative again. We should be much more sensible now. Ask Somali, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan and others how far If we had an arrangement like 'EU' and Nigeria wants to pull out for instance, just like Britain did, I can comfortably say it for free that it may not be violence free as the case of Britain. Must we fight all the time. Who do us sef Let's say this again and again, it is better to 'Jaw Jaw than to War War'. |

olaBanks:The person who refused to negotiate was the Ethiopian prime minister. Most times, those who rebel tried everything possible to negotiate but usually, the African leader controling the armed forces will refuse. That was same issue during the Biafran war. The prime minister started imposing his tribe into key FG units ignoring other major tribes. The major tribe complained and demanded that this should be reverted, he refused. Every effort to get the prime minister into accepting to revert this new development, he refused. The major tribe pulled out of the union. African leaders must learn. Like I always say, over centralization is the major problem facing many african countries with multi ethnic existence. We dont want to accept this. Lol, Africa will keep fighting. Euope fought wars too na. British, France, all of them fought them selves very well in the past until Europe had sense and designed their continent to identify key tribes and grant them soverignty and also ensure that no tribe has monopoly of the country via centralization. Whites always have sense. Immediately u design a system that can allow one ethnic group to lord over other ethnic groups, the minority will likely accept but u see major ethnic groups, they will revort. The same issue why Nigeria has remained unstable. People are calling for dialogue now, people are calling for change of constitution and give room for decentralization now, Nigerian politicians are refusing. One day na day, e go cast patapata. Black man no dey hear word. |
