Congratulations Umunnem We did it. The enemies of our fatherland didn’t succeed this time around. We were able to unite and protect our state because Anambra is all we have. Like I was telling someone on phone who had fears of violence in this past election,I told her to calm down nothing will happen, the election will come and go in peace and hustle and bustle will continue. I indeed tried to calm her fears and the she called on Saturday to tell me that she even voted. ~We pray for everlasting peace and calm in Anambra. ~We pray God give Soludo the wisdom to choose qualified cabinet members for his govt. ~We pray for long life and prosperity to all Anambraians in the forth coming dispensation. Congratulations to Soludo

I'd like to congratulate the people of Anambra on the election of chukwuma Charles Soludo. Even though I'm not from anambra state I believe governance is a serious business and should not be left in the hands of people who have not proven themselves as successful leaders of even a 10-man institution. I don't know anything about the politics of anambra but based on his profile I'd have voted for him if that was my state. |

investnow2013:Oga, Why do you always post plagiarized videos of other people's work? We should be encouraging original and authentic content, not people who lazily collect other people's work and compile it as their own video. I respect original content because at least the individual was not lazy. They made the effort to go there and make a video for the rest of us to enjoy. Instead of people who refuse to go make anything original, but depend on pirating the works of other people without even giving them any credit or getting their permission to benefit from their video. |

The truth is that this your "house of Jacob" and the other Jewish stuff reeks of severe INFERIORITY COMPLEX. I wonder how you will behave when you see the real Jews. Tụfịakwa. Una shame dey shame me. Just turn this stupidity around. Let's say one Jewish man postulate that Jews are descendants of Ndigbo, do you think any of them will believe it? That is called dignity and self respect |

PRESS STATEMENT 10/11/2021 NGIGE CONGRATULATES SOLUDO, HAILS BUHARI The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige has congratulated the winner of the November 6, 2021 Anambra State Governorship Election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). Senator Ngige, in a goodwill message by his Media Office Wednesday, congratulated the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for a resounding victory in the poll, saying it is a victory well deserved. He said, “Ndi-Anambra have spoken with this resounding victory. Having contested in 2010 with Soludo, who was then the PDP candidate and myself in ACN; an election in which I was ‘awarded’ the second position even though I won outright and Soludo third, I knew that with his tenacity of purpose and drive, he would one day make it to the seat of the Governor of Anambra State. “It is a case in patience and endurance, an aspiration nurtured to serve the people with all his strength, I seriously believe. Ndi-Anambra I know, will hence, entertain no excuses . Much has been given, hence the expectation is very high. Knowing Soludo as I do however , I have no doubt that our people have made an excellent choice by voting him. ” Sen. Ngige also congratulated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a free, fair and credible election, even with the initial hiccups posed by the malfunctioning of the Biometric Voters’ Accreditation (BVAS) system in some places. “ A solid opportunity is here offered to INEC to brace up to the challenges posed by the Anambra Election, which he labeled “a guinea pig election ” especially with the debut of the BVAS technology for a more credible, free and fair elections in future. “ At this auspicious juncture, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari deserves a glowing national tribute. I put on record, that Mr. President had on three different occasions, assured through me, that the Anambra governorship election would be free and fair. “The last of such occasion being on October 14, 2021, when I conveyed the fear and the consternation of the religious leaders , elder statesmen and traditional rulers of Anambra State, more especially that of his friend, the Archbishop of the Onitsha Metropolitan Province, His Grace, Dr. Valerian Okeke to him in his office. “Not only did the President ensure a level playing field for all the political parties , he directed all the security agencies to deploy into Anambra to protect and secure voters and electoral workers. A promise kept! “ Worthy of commendation in this direction, is the professionalism exhibited by the security agencies - the army, police, DSS and the Civil Defence during the exercise, in compliance with the wish of the President for the good people of Anambra State . “ The election has come and gone and it is very free, fair and credible. Mr. President has in deed lived true to his assurances to Ndi-Anambra and by this very fact, demonstrated once again, that he is no enemy to Ndi-Igbo. What a better value to democracy, than a legacy of credible elections, in which the will of the people reigns supreme. May we therefore hail this true democrat! Continuing, Ngige appealed to all those who contested the exalted position with Professor Soludo to sheath their swords. “ Only one person would emerge a winner in this contest, more so, when the seat of the Governor of Anambra State can only be occupied by one person at any given time. I therefore urge the other candidates to be good losers and join hands with the Governor-elect to give the state the best. “As an elder statesman in the state, I have no choice than to irrevocably stand with my dear Ndi-Anambra in their desire for an unfettered freedom to choose their leaders. It is a legacy we must bequeath to the posterity of our people. “Similarly, I urge Professor Soludo to be magnanimous in victory . Time is here for him to reach out to everybody, including those who aspired with him in his APGA, as well as others who contested on the platforms of other political parties, notably, the PDP, APC, YPP and ZLP, so as to join hands to elevate and restore our state to its enviable position in Igbo land and Nigeria in general . “ There is no doubt that our dear state, visibly veered off the track of progress since the last three years, when the incumbent Governor started suffering from a second term gubernatorial fatigue. “On my own part, I’m willing to assist him consolidate the gains made by the previous governors. I will make available to him, human and material resources, to make another successful Governor in our dear State. “Instructive also, is that our hands of fellowship to Professor Soludo is reciprocal, him being a leading member of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council(PEAC) that has been assisting the President’s Economic Sustainability team, led by His Excellency, the Vice President in getting our economy out of the doldrums with the COVID-19 pandemic .” “ I want to also thank the Anambra electorate for coming out despite all the fears of violence, killings and kidnappings, weeks before the election. “In commending them, I also thank the “known and unknown gunmen” for seeing reason with the elders that Ndi-Anambra be allowed to vote for the leader of their choice. “May God continue to bless Anambra State while we collectively work to take it to a greater and more enviable height,” the statement added. “ There is no doubt that our dear state, visibly veered off the track of progress since the last three years, when the incumbent Governor started suffering from a second term gubernatorial fatigue.Ngige acknowledges Obiano has done very well, the only reason while he talked about veering off in the last 3 years was because Obiano refused to give the Igweship of his town to his favorite. Congrats to Soludo, Congrats Gov Obiano, Congrats APGA, Congrats Anambra |

I have studied the claims with an open mind and historical, biblical, historical, genealogical, linguistics, and genetic evidence indicates that Ndigbo and most negroid ethnic groups are indeed Hebraic in origin. there is no smoke without fire o! |

afube:Historical = We only knew about them in 1857 when Christianity was introduced to us Biblical = That is Jewish folklore/history similar to our Eri story or Yoruba Oduduwa tales. Genealogical / Genetics = I believe they have conducted DNA tests which showed zero similarity between us and them. Besides we only heard of the word Jew for the first time in 1857 Linguistics = Igbo is Niger-Congo while Hebrew is Afro-Asiatic similar to Hausa but I have never seen an Hausa man claim Jewish Honestly, we have zero relationship with the Jews except for the fact that we are all humans |

The United Kingdom has congratulated Professor Charles Soludo on his emergence as winner of the November 6 gubernatorial election in Anambra State. This felicitation was contained in a British High Commission statement titled, “‘UK Statement On Anambra Governorship Election”. In its official reaction to the poll, the UK also hailed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), noting that the election results released early on Wednesday are consistent with the results obtained through the civil society Parallel Vote Tabulation process carried out by YIAGA Africa. READ ALSO: Soludo Celebrates Victory, Says It Reflects The People’s Will Speaking after the election, the British High Commissioner, Catriona Laing, said, “Credible and inclusive elections are fundamental to Nigeria’s democratic growth”. The UK further encouraged INEC and all stakeholders to continue improving the electoral system and to ensure meaningful participation of young people, women and citizens generally in the democratic process. Below is the full statement as put out by the British High Commission in Abuja. “We offer our congratulations to Prof. Charles Soludo who has been declared winner of the Anambra State governorship election. We note that the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission are consistent with the results obtained through the civil society Parallel Vote Tabulation process carried out by YIAGA Africa. “Our mission, which observed the preparations for the poll, acknowledges the collective effort of stakeholders in the conduct of the election. The people of Anambra have demonstrated resilience and a commitment to democracy. “We recognise that independent Nigerian voices have expressed concerns about the conduct of the electoral process, in particular around logistics, accreditation of voters, deployment of polling officials, and low voter turnout. The UK is encouraged by the use and transparency of INEC’s result viewing portal in the electoral process.

US Government React As Soludo Wins Anambra Election The United States Government has applauded the just-concluded Anambra State Governorship Election. This was contained in a statement on Wednesday from the US Mission in Nigeria. In it, the US government stated that the result of the poll reflected the will of the people. The statement read, “The United States government congratulates the citizens of Anambra State for the peaceful conduct of the gubernatorial election on November 6, the outcome of which reflects the will of the people. “We note the tremendous challenges faced by INEC and security force personnel on the ground and commend the efforts that led to a secure election with a credible outcome. “We also applaud the engagement from our civil society partners for their tireless advocacy on behalf of voters and electoral transparency. “We look forward to continued improvements in the electoral process as the country heads into gubernatorial elections in Osun and Ekiti in 2022 and national elections in 2023.” The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared a former Governor of Central Bank and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the winner. Rocksvibes234:One hopes that he has a robust media presence, especially on social media. One of the greatest things I LOVE about Obiano is that he actually has a Facebook and Youtube page! Obiano is the 1st Anambra leader that I'm aware of that has his own social media handles. Not pages of his media aids such Valentine Obienyem's page announcing Peter Obi's projects. That is why we rarely can find any of Peter Obi's projects on social media because he never had a social media handle. it was also part of the reason that he was unreachable even by ordinary citizens who just wanted to complain about his commissioners or something important on the Governor's Facebook or youtube page to reach him. I hope Soludo will emulate Obiano and maintain social media pages not just to document his activities for posterity but also to make himself reachable by those whose only way of reaching the governor is via social media. https://www.facebook.com/WillieObiano https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyMBZdJ_f5FV1XSCFIE3piA |

For Soludo's emergency on roads repairs and reconstruction to be fruitful without eclipsing all state funds for other development, he must 1. Utilize CONCRETE Roads & Drainages USING DIRECT LABOUR 2. Revitalize the Anambra Roads Maintenance Agency (ARMA) to begin repairing all internal roads in the major urban centers with concrete. 3. Employ professional Engineers to lead the road ARMA in each major urban center where they are rebuilding the roads and drainages. The concrete roads system using direct labor has been successfully used by poorer states to build cheap durable roads that have continued to last to date. Only very challenging intrastate roads should be awarded to contractors with relevant experience to do because of the engineering challenge and bridges required on such roads. This method also improves the skillset of many youths who gain vital experience in roads construction and design which they can utilize in helping their communities build their own durable roads through communal effort and without the use of expensive roads construction companies.

| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Cjrane2: 1:20pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
ChimaAdeoye:From my experience, concrete roads reinforced with steel bars are most useful within urban renewal efforts. Where solid roads and drainages that can take a lot of urban traffic and flash flood are built with reinforced concrete to last many years. For the intrastate roads, they can also be built with concrete but I don't think our engineers are at that level of efficiency and competence yet. It often takes them way too long to build intrastate concrete roads as we have observed in Ebonyi state. But, I must concede that sections of intrastate roads that are prone to flooding or soggy soil are better made with reinforced concrete to guarantee they will last. Most importantly, Soludo must bring the idea of PLANNED CITY DEVELOPMENT back to Anambra state. If Anambra cities were well laid out in a planned way, it would already be the most developed space in Africa. The only thing that is seriously lacking in Anambra is the concept of planned development as you see in Abuja. If Soludo makes sure that the new Anambra airport city and other new satellite cities he will build are well planned like the Awka Millennium city, it would be a fantastic development for Anambra. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by globemoney01: 2:09pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
For me, Soludo needs to make the bold move to demolish illegal buildings and roads in Anambra cities. This is the most importnt thing lacking in the state. He doesnt need to build any new satelite city, he needs to finish Awka Millenium city to drag the elites scattered across Nigeria back to the state since their is now an airport or their easy movement. He also needs to make sure the Anambra Airport functions to full capacity, infact the regional hub of air transport, I'm very sure Obiano could have made this happen if he had more time. The dualization of major Anambra roads is one thing Soludo must do. Before Obiano, banning Okada almost seemed impossible in the state, even the state owing an airport, as we were made to believe Anambra billionaire transporters and okada importers will never allow it happen. Obiano took the bold step to ensure these very important things were done regardless of who is offended. The next bold thing that should be done is demolishing houses built along the roads and compensation, then dualization of old and new roads. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 4:13pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
There a certain areas I expect Soludo to devote more energy and resources: 1) Urban renewal ( including roads in the urban centers like Onicha and environs and Nnewi ,in particular). 2) Improve on the infrastructures we have in healthcare and scale up to international standards. 3) Education is of critical importance and must I state that since Obiano became governor Anambra has dropped in WAEC performances. I want continuous funding of schools , aggressive improvements in educational infrastructures , especially College of education for teachers and consistent training of teachers. 4) A stop to narrow roads , open gutters and sad dunes. If we are working to be a first world society then our environment must be organized , clean and green. Obi and Obiano failed miserably in the areas of beautifying our streets with trees and grass. If Obi had started with the green initiative and Obiano continued by now we would be the most greenest state. I had high hopes for Obiano but he failed. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Omanambala(m): 4:26pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
5) We also need to be aggressive with investing in sports , especially , at high school and university level. Our performance at National Sports Festival is very poor and this is another area Obiano failed woefully. A government that care little about youths is a failure of course. 6) I also expect Soludo to pay attention to the department of theatre arts while we upgrade our universities. Our home grown actors are pitiful and just sad. For a state that boast of many Nollywood actors , we have no infrastructures and resources to augment that. Importance of sound education cant be over emphasized. 7) Eke Awka is an embarrassment to both Anambra and the failure in Obiano. I cant believe that in 8yrs Obiano could develop Eke Awka beyond road side trading and filth. Another failure! Waste management , street side trading and refuse in open gutters should be top priority. In fact , there are much work to be done and did I forget security...jeeez |

BKayy:Nothing embarrasses me more as an Igbo man than Ndigbo who claim to be Jewish descendants. Ignoring the historical and anthropological illiteracy of the claim, it portrays us as having a very deep inferiority complex which we think will be assuaged by amplifying the most tenuous links to an alien tribe who we believe to be a superior race of people: God's chosen people. Ezigbote alu ka obu! An insult to our ancestors and a perversion of our heritage. That's how we disgrace ourselves flying Israel flag upandan. |
