This quick fix is no other than a DIY Vit C toner.
The vitamin C used in this formula is the cosmetic grade vit C that comes in powder form and known as L-ascorbic acid.

Its water soluble ( dissolves in water).
Absorbs and works better at a pH of 5 for any skin type.

Don't worry though, this formula has been tested and trusted to suit all skin types.

Note: before we start I'll like you to know a few things about L-ascorbic acid, its potency and shelf life.

L-ascorbic acid is highly unstable. Meaning it degrades very fast and this is important to note so that you're well guided on the quantity of vit c product to make per time.

Because it's of it's unstable nature, you're advised to make only a little batch to last you a few days to a week before it finally loses potency.

Let go!

Get distilled water or boil bottle water to rid it of any bacteria. Or you use pure natural rose water.

Take half table spoon of vit c ( use plastic spoon and glass bowl) in a glass bowl
Add two tablespoon of distilled water and stir until it dissolves.
Voila! Your vit C toner is ready!

Pour into a dark bottle and keep away from sunlight.

If you have a dry skin type, add 5drops of vegetable glycerin to this toner for extra hydrating effect to get rid of wrinkles and fine lines usually associated with dry skin.

USAGE:
Wash face clean with any good herbal soap.
Take a cotton pad, add some drops of your vit C toner and use it to wipe your face.
Use only at night and use a good sunscreen during the day when using this toner or avoid the sun.

This toner will give you an instant glow.
It will clear your acne within a day or two of usage. Yes!, It dries up pimples.

Its exfoliating properties will help fade dark marks and spots under one week and brighten your skin.

You can add a full table spoon to your bath water for full body glow and even skin tone from face down.
Gives your skin that instant sun-kissed look!

You can get vit c powder from any organic shop not your regular bss. And it's very affordable.

Isn't physical exfoliation harmful to the skin?
Chemical exfoliation with glycolic or salicylic acid is better and mild to the skin instead of causing your skin trauma by scrubbing, scrubbing, scrubbing.

Mechanical exfoliation is equally good. You just need to go gentle on your skin to avoid abrasions. In fact it is safer and easier to manage than the chemical exfoliants you mentioned especially for beginners and novice in skincare.

Mechanical exfoliants ( sugar, salt
and coffee granules scrubs) can be combined with Olive oil to reduce its abrasiveness.

Better still, people with sensitive skin can opt for brown sugar.

Yes you can but you have to be very gentle with it because it's very abrasive and can tear and wear your skin out.

Combine with olive oil for best results.

Please read up on how to use chemical exfoliants. It's very easy to get your skin burnt or damaged as a newbie and if you're not careful. But that's what will do the trick.
