First of all, you should know that blind people due to not having the sense of sight (which is our primary sense organ) usually have other senses heightened, which means that they can hear, smell and feel things better than a person with sight, also you should know that their instincts are often better than normal people.

This series takes place centuries after humans have lost their sense of sight and have learned to adapt without seeing.
You obviously have no idea about how powerful the human brain is and how it can adapt to situations that's why you are saying this.

But with that being said, events in SEE happens centuries after the virus wiped out the human population, leaving those who survived it blind. If you know a little about evolution and how the best adapted organism survives, it won't be a long shot to assume, that with time those who had more heightened senses survived and those lacking died. The ones who survived reproduced children with even more heightened senses. This occurs over centuries and eventually all surviving humans now(at the time SEE happens) have well developed senses.

Of course there will be those with more evolved senses than the rest, those are the ones who can tell the no of people in a particular area. You will noticed not everyone in see can do that.

But yes in terms of todays world its exaggerated. But giving consideration to time and human ability to adapt. It could be possible. Its kind of similar to futuristic movies with flying cars and breathtaking technology that as at today are impossible but factor in a bit of time and it might just be plausible.

I have downloaded the first 3 episodes...I'll download the other 3 today...

Once I get to One Piece Episode 889 where the levely arc ends, I will have time to watch Arcane and other series...

For now I'm still at the Whole Cake arc in One Piece

First of all, as u said it's Fiction.

But take time and notice someone who's blind especially those who were born blind or have been blind for a very long time and you'll notice that there have somehow gained some level of Independence and a strong awareness for of their environment.
I knew of a blind lecturer in my University who was in Mass comm department, he was a very good at giving lecturers and his movement was almost accurate, infact if you are not very observant, you won't notice that he's blind


In terms of survival , I don't think humans will go extinct if humanity lost its sense of sight , it might be difficult for the first few years but after a while I think some will have found ways to live, build and survive generally and even have children who would possess even sharper senses than their parents.


I know it's Fiction but I love how the show's producers have been able to accurately give us a probability of how the world would have been without sight.

One of the reasons why our country is so backwards is because of the Myopic sense of thinking we have with some people in this country and Africa as a whole.

Many people don't understand that in Biology, an organism will adapt when situations change in an attempt to survive.
I'm sure the guy arguing with you doesn't even realize that according to evolution every sense, skill, and ability he possesses is due to many years of human adaptation.

It's a really good series but clearly it's only for open-minded people.

POWER or EMPIRE.


I will definitely choose POWER as the better series. It's more realistic than empire. Luscious Lyon seems to always get away with all the destructons he caused, things do not work in real life like that, but Ghost didn't.

I've seen the two series but I'll pick Power every time, like you said, it's Realistic and I love Ghost character cause of his smartness and getting things done his way and damning the consequences..

Both are fantastic and enjoyable watch, it largely depends on the genre you love most.
Anyways, EMPIRE slightly gets the nod for me.

Only three episodes in and this is a masterpiece!
Damn, I never thought it will be this good. The visuals is captivating but the story gets you hooked.
