But Empress Ki is one of the best series I've ever watched...

Anime is just a medium just like movies or TV series...
It tells a story...
Just like there are masterpiece shows...there are masterpiece anime too

It's okay not to like it...but that's simply limiting yourself...

For me I watch anything so long as it's good...Korean, Hollywood, french, Italian, Spanish, anime, UK, etc

Seems the consensus is that it's a fan or genre pleaser but not a general audience thingy (if you're not familiar with the story).
Almost everyone seems to compare it to GOT.
