I thought they said there is a billionaire in every family in Anambra. That means there are no rich people in other states of the country because I know fully well that there are more than 9000 families in Anambra.

Take it to bank, NIGERIANS ARE CHRONICALLY POOR. DONT BE DECEIVED BY THE MONEY YOU HEAR IN NAIRA. 200M PEOPLE NOT WORTH THE BUDGET OF A STATE IN US. TAKE FOR EXAMPLE, OUR BUDGET (TO CATER FOR 200M PEOPLE IS LESS THAN $50B. THAT IS THE BUDGET FOR ONE OF THE POOREST STATES IN US, TO CATER FOR LESS THAN 20M PEOPLE.

all tribe commentators on NL make absurd exaggerations regarding Wealth and tribal Development... Makes me wonder what's the gain in such self deceit

More proof that Nigeria is a poor and wretched country. Over 200m people only worth $200b+ and just 9k millionaires in dollars. Just imagine Elon Musk richer than 200m people. No wonder they see Africans as useless people.

What this report means is that there is just 1 person who is worth N500m among 21,978 individuals in Nigeria. Also, in a country of 200m people, we have less than 4 people who are worth N500b. What proof do you need to conclude that Nigerians are not creative nor growth oriented. No wonder the only businesses we have in Nigeria is real estate, hotel and eatery. No brains. Later, they will fight South Africans and other African countries claiming giant. Worthless populated country.

That Nigeria economy is the largest in Africa and in 25th in the World is not surprising.

If 50 million + Nigerians are naira millionaire, and South Africa population is 40 million plus our economy should be bigger than theirs
how did you get the 50 million naira millionaire?

Where did you get the figures from?

I do not believe it. More than half of the country is living below poverty line(less than $1 daily). That leaves us with barely 100m people living in poverty and above poverty line. Of that 100m there's no way 50% lf them are all millionaires(naira). No way.

And yet we are still the poverty headquarters of the world

The list actually corroborates such considering the population, size of economy and GDP growth. Compared to India that has the second largest number of poor people, Nigeria is notoriously and effortlessly poor.

So at the ratio of 1- 9,100, it cannot grin

Meanwhile, the report says Lagos lost about 100 multi-millionaires and about 1,800 millionaires between 2017 and 2020.

That’s clearly the effect of bad governance. Buharinomics in action.

But unfortunately, the landlord of Lagos, the Baba Sope in Chief of Nigeria, has been the greatest supporter of this disaster of a government; just like majority of Nairaland resident zombies are all Lagos urchins.

30K is even too much for a night, how many can afford say 10K for short time in Ebonyi? If some of us go move to Ebonyi and scout around her teritary institutions, we would fvck the entire school for pittance.

If you are not among us, don't worry, you will make it one day. But Please, anyone who tells you that human rituals will make you a millionaire or billionaire is an evil liar from the devil's cult.

A poor poverty stricken wretched Babalawo or Juju native witch doctor lies to you that human rituals will make you rich and you are stupid to believe without asking the demonic man that why is he so stinking poor and has not used any of his own children for human rituals.

The same ogun state that is broke and borrowing to pay salary..Go to ogun states and see how many civil servants are being owned salaries. Most roads in the state are dilapidated and no money to repair them.. infrastructure is zero in that state..

The only state that can survive in Nigeria are oil producing states and maybe Lagos..most states in the west are nothing to write home about . I'm yet to see their governor commission any mega infrastructure aikce they assumed office

It's a shame tho, creativity is outta the window.

Our system is poor and this statistics proves that. a system with poor educational system and poor health system.

Am very sad with this data and this analysis.
