There's no way ,you say? Clearly you've never been to south africa! Anyone who's been there can tell you that they are light years ahead of nigeria in every way ! Nigeria cannot reach the development level of south africa in our lifetime ! Honestly .

You just counted mono-economy ( crude oil) as part of Nigeria’s regressing indices.

But didn’t your Buhari promise to diversify the economy? Or 6 years and counting is not enough to diversify the economy?

Is that the excuse you are going to give next?
Are you a kid to think diversifying an economy is a 6yr project?

Are you aware of the Billions of dollars required to diversify an economy?? Where do you expect the money to come from in a recession??

If it was so easy, why hasn't any administration carried it out in 4 decades??

You guys have very unrealistic and unreasonable expectations as if you don't reason the grey areas in every situation, just 1-dimemsional way of thinking.

Another example is that news you guys peddle of Buhari saying " I will make N1 equal to 1$" (Frankly, i don't believe the statement, or it was an exaggerated joke)....and you guys truly act like you believe and are waiting for it to come to pass.

It reeks of crass ignorance expecting that to come to pass, in a mono-product economy with a population that produce nothing and rely on importation.

Don't dumb down your mental capacity to think because of hatred for Buhari.

Now the elections are won, you are talking about its impossibility in a short period of time as the entire Buhari tenure. But when the impossible statement was made in the run on to 2015 elections, you lots carried it on your heads like gala even as we tried to point out how impossible it was.

Where were you when that statement was made before the elections?

Largely based on paper and when you consider the term - Dead Capital (please Google it and attach PwC Nigeria), you would understand that it's not easily convertible to liquid cash. How many persons are paying such amount of money for lands in Plateau, Borno, Ebonyi etc? How much FDI has been invested in those states? What's the unemployment rate in those states? How many big employers (private sector) are in those states? Also, factor in naira devaluation and runaway inflation. These things affect the price of real estate within a locality. So, the land might be there but because of archaic land laws and poor economy, the land is a dead capital.

Just finished reading the Dead Capital white paper from PWC, though I'm surprised they didn't factor in the corruption factor. It was scarcely mentioned.

If you believe this rubbish then you are a mental patient. There are at least 700,000 families in Nigeria and each has a dollar millionaire. Every single person in Nigeria has a uncle, aunty or relative who is rich. The total number of dollar millionaires in Nigeria is at least 700,000

It's of no use to mention their names in certain situations.
