We don't have new heros or we don't care to discover them?
Some doctors have done some amazing medical breakthroughs in Nigeria, have we ever celebrated them?

Every day we are celebrating dead people cos of their affiliation with politics when they were alive while the real heros still living amongst us are forgotten.
The West and the rest of the world celebrate living heros everyday that do amazing things. Not people that died years ago.

Like I said, people like that are used in academic research teaching etc in their various fields not posthumous whatever. It's boring.
Next year we will start all over. Achebe posthumous birthday, awolowo posthumous birthday, The first Nigerian female Dr( have forgotten her name) why don't we celebrate her too or she wasn't a hero?
