this advice can only be given to you by a professional lawyer, they will evaluate the situation and give recommendations wether you have a chance at a case with them or not, if you do, it might actually pay you, depending on how good the lawyer is, alow your patience and stamina to fight a very big firm with alot of resources and power at their disposal.. If they offer you any form of compensation during the course of the case if any, accept it without delay, except you want to make an activist statement, you can proceed with the Case

What damages was caused as a result of the bank holding your 2k....was lives lost, if yes.. that’s provable... was your organ damaged as a result of the delay to medical care.. that’s also probable...

But if you sue and you and your lawyer can’t prove that the delay caused damages apart from psychological.... the cash out your are expecting fit no pass N65,200...

Don't sue them because you will still be the bigger looser, just tag them on social media and lay your complaints they will look into your case and treat it faster and next time use your bank ATM to withdraw because using another bank ATM takes forever to get back your money if there is dispense error and most people don't get their money, the bank you used the ATM will claim you collected the cash while your bank will say you have been debited.

I think you have a case, you're suing for the inconvenience and uncertainty you faced as that 2k was your only hope of survival at the time and not just the 2k. I wish say na my case be this. You need a good lawyer to take up your case pro bono, una go discuss percentage ahead if able to secure compensation for you. You just have to be able to make your case a compelling one, a decent judge would award you something nice

Hmm.
2k is too little to sue for, but it's still money sha. What you will be sueing will be for the damages because you needed the money for health reasons. That you have to prove.
Anyway, I advice you try your luck by getting a lawyer to write the bank with your demands and giving them the normal 7 days to act or you seek legal redress. If you are lucky, they will give you your 2k with some compensation.

Even POS deducts sometimes from your account without crdediting the POS operator account and they wount give you cash until it is resolved but such cases are more with ATM machines especially using a bank ATM machine that is different from your bank.

If you are suing a bank for 2k, it means you are probably broke. How do you intend to pay a legal team? The banks have a war chest to handle our criminal justice system which by the way is a marathon not a short sprint. A smarter way to handle it is to either go to the bank and cause a scene or drag them on social media thereby making them trend for the wrong reasons.
