As part of the Government commitment to the economic empowerment of unemployed or under-employed youths in Ekiti State, Governor Kayode Fayemi approved the establishment of the Ekiti State ICT Academy to oversee Web and Mobile Applications Development Training.

The first batch of the trainees of the Academy were trained in 2019 & 2020, and most of them are now gainfully employed all over Nigeria.

The second batch of the training will soon take off, hence, the necessity to invite a new set of applicants.

The Bureau of ICT hereby invites interested under-employed youths who reside in Ekiti State for the next batch of ICT training. Every Applicant must possess prior programing knowledge in HTML & CSS, PHP and mySQL.

Each trainee will specialize either in Web Application Development, or in Mobile Application Development.

Programming Experience Required: This training will last for a period of four months. The conditions of graduation from the Academy include completion of a software Application solution that is implemented, and in use by an MDA of Ekiti State. It is therefore important that only candidates with existing interest and basic experience in programming should apply.

New To Computer Programming: Beginners are advised to explore computer programming training opportunities from any of the numerous computer programming training schools around the state, to gain eligibility for further training in the Ekiti State ICT Academy in any of the subsequent trainee batches.

Stipend: There will be a stipend of N25,000.00 per month, commencing from the second month of training, following a successful completion of the end of the First month test.

Application Deadline: Tuesday 23rd November, 2021

. Same thing that Delta state did and they are yet to give starter packs to beneficiaries 2 months after end of program and besides na even 10k they give youths each month for the duration of the program. What am I even saying na 3months they pay the 10k instead of the 4 months
