Hello NL,
I drive a 2007 Lexus ES & I have slowly noticed this high squeaking noise when I put it in reverse or drive (this is usually after I’ve driven it earlier, not on a cold start) but soon after driving a bit it stops, I’m only concerned cus I usually hear this noise from very old vehicles, would like to know what might be the cause. Knocking sound

Squeaking noise is as a result of worn belts...
Have your mechanic check them.

It's not associated to old cars.
It's caused by worn belts, lazy belt tensioners or faulty accessory systems such as ac, alternator etc. Your mechanic should be able to figure out the issue easily.
