He didn't use the funds to bail civil servants in his state out despite owing salary, he left it there until it was returned.

The good thing here is, Kogi is no more owing the federal government - no deductions from their monthly allocation. You sure say Yaya knew about this money? That guy would have taken the money out since. He's that negatively smart.

Maybe he left it there for the interest to accrue, then he'd take the interest and bring the main fund out later.

And we are saying youth should come and lead this country, Yahya Bello is the youngest governor in Nigeria and just 49 years old with 3 wives already. He denied this money vehemently and even sent the Deputy governor to give a press statement that the money Efcc discovered in sterling Bank was fake and it's the work of his enemies.....so how come the money has now been taken by the CBN? Nigeria is finished long long time..... Am so sorry...

The youth should go after this thief for disgracing them. Kogi has been unlucky with leaders, but this is the greatest thief of all times. He will sell Nigeria even as Vice President. Nigerians shine your eyes.

Yet there is such monumental funds stashed somewhere belonging to the people of the state that is idling away.

shocked

In a state where workers are being owed salaries, a certain governor received Bail-Out Funds, and instead of chanelling it to alleviate the poor worker's challenges, he went and domiciled it in a bank in order to yield interest and finance his 2023 Presidential Ambition.

The above are the cheap paid zombies who posts rubbish concerning the failed governor and shower fake encomiums on this platform.
They should go and ask Vulture Griller how far.
You must surely pay the price for supporting gross failure, mediocrity and sheer nepotism just for a morsel of bread.

You will never see them on this kind of thread.
Yeye Bello's ass lickers.

This is just Sterling Bank in Nigeria.
Only God knows how much he has stashed in foreign offshore accounts.
Kogi people are highly unfortunate shaa.

Has the griller paid his price

Hmmm......so the hidden money is traced.... found ... and returned to CBN ... the end? Shouldn't they go after who did the stashing? The system is set up to allow people to steal without consequences.

The bastered has devised another means by deducting 8% from all the workers salary by next year in the guise of pension contributions and all these monies would end up in his pocket meanwhile some directors in his state are taking as low as 30K salary monthly....!!!!
