Given that you have read the books, I'd expect you to be more understanding than you've shown.
It would be unfair to compare WoT to GoT because the two shows are so dissimilar. The first is loosely based on historical politics, while the second is based on religion so their structures are vastly different.
Adapting books with a major theme of magic, in my experience, is extremely difficult because there are no real-life parallels to draw from or ground them in. Give the show more mileage; if the high production value is considered, it's only a matter of time before it comes good.

Lol, I am just happy the series have begun sef. ......and like I said before, we'll see how it goes

It's not magic. I only read fast if the novel is interesting.

Still haven't seen this, I know what it will be like...I think The Rock has the potential to take more drama roles but he keeps on sticking to these roles, he insists on being the biggest, baddest guy in his movies.. If he continues this way, he won't be getting much when his body stops looking this way...

You need to lower your expectations to the lowest level if you want to enjoy this movie

Bury your expectations 100 feet below the ground and switch off your brain and maybe you wouldn't regret wasting your data on this movie

Nah! Jackie chan and Arnold are both old men and they are still doing well in action movies.

I don't really get why a lot of people here get angry when actors/actress don't diversify?

It's called niching. It's like getting annoyed because Adele doesn't rap or Eminem doesn't sing.

You choose a niche in a particular profession and stick to it until you are tired.

It explains why you won't be seeing The Rock in drama till forever.

Don't be fooled by his charisma; Dwayne Johnson is only averagely talented. If you took away his muscles and charm, he'd become a minor character. He'll probably retire from acting when he's too old to play a convincing badass. I mean, the guy has amassed so much wealth and has so many investments that even if he stopped acting today, he'd still be in the top ten highest paid actors for the foreseeable future.
