I think we are living in the most uninteresting times, you watch some movies and documentaries and up until now they still tell stories from hundred of years ago, the old times seems to be much more interesting than today. Let's say in a 100 years what stories can movies producers tell about this times. Old times still tell stories from the world war and all but now nothing interesting. Just my thoughts though.
