Bury your expectations 100 feet below the ground and switch off your brain and maybe you wouldn't regret wasting your data on this movie

SONY made so much money from the first movie they didn't care to make a better sequel

I don't really get why a lot of people here get angry when actors/actress don't diversify?

It's called niching. It's like getting annoyed because Adele doesn't rap or Eminem doesn't sing.

You choose a niche in a particular profession and stick to it until you are tired.

It explains why you won't be seeing The Rock in drama till forever.

Don't be fooled by his charisma; Dwayne Johnson is only averagely talented. If you took away his muscles and charm, he'd become a minor character. He'll probably retire from acting when he's too old to play a convincing badass. I mean, the guy has amassed so much wealth and has so many investments that even if he stopped acting today, he'd still be in the top ten highest paid actors for the foreseeable future.

Both Jacky and Arnold haven't been in anything meaningful for some time now...
Hell, even Bruce that was in some movies where he wasn't just an action figure is finding it difficult to get decent roles in decent movies these days..How much more Dwayne who's just the big muscular guy who kicks butt in all his movies...
I'm not vexed or anything.. Just something I think he can try his hands on...

I am against that idea. Let them stick to their niche and when it's time, they should retire.

Even drama kings and queens don't act forever.

Point being, being a bit diverse helps in the latter years...

Still haven't seen this, I know what it will be like...I think The Rock has the potential to take more drama roles but he keeps on sticking to these roles, he insists on being the biggest, baddest guy in his movies.. If he continues this way, he won't be getting much when his body stops looking this way...
