Guys! God has indeed answered my prayers. Yesterday I said that I will get my collection mail today and indeed it happened. My story is this -

I had 2 Canada visa refusals, I was so confident that I would get the last one, that I took my study leave from work, meaning I practically resigned and started classes online which I did for 2weeks before the second refusal letter came from Canada.

Devastated does not even describe how I felt late September. I had spent my whole year chasing this study dream.

Long story short, I got a job offer Nov 1st, it’s fully remote and the pay is times 2 of what I was previously getting and now I have my Uk visa. The God of the 11th hour indeed showed up for me. My timeline is below:

School - York St John University
Conditional offer - Sept 29th
Unconditional - Oct 27th
CAS issuance - Nov 15th
Visa Application(Priority) - Nov 15th
Biometrics - Nov 16th
No NSF mail
Collection mail - Nov 24th
Passport picked up - Nov 24th

I give all glory to God and I thank the good people of Nairaland. You guys are simply amazing, I go through this thread everyday to get information and this was how I packaged my application and I met great friends here too along the way.

I just collected my Covid vaccination card somewhere in Ogun state. Upon getting home, I had an overwhelming premonition to verify the barcode using a QR code now so I won't get stranded whenever I eventually put it to use.
Unfortunately, I discovered upon accessing the portal that my date of birth was incorrect. Asides that, my name was entered halfway. Again, I also realized that the portal only reflected the data of my first dose vaccination. That of the second has not been entered. I therefore will like to seek professional advise on what to do. They have started giving CAS. Teesside is giving CAS to WA students already. Be hopeful, your will come. It’s just a matter of time.

The name of your bank then select Statement from personal bank.....Only if you are using your personal bank account statement...

I am based in Abuja. I want to do police report in Abuja Louis Edet Police HQ at Area 11. But i heard rumors that UK travellers must obtain their police report from Ikoyi, Lagos. Is it true that police report clearance (to check criminal records) can only be done at Ikoyi, Lagos ?

Alagbon for lagos I know but I'm sure Abuja has ot own centre too. Try and Google it

Its over 2 weeks my Foam A is pending with Eco bank. My account is still not debited till date.
A friend in the UK requested he make the initial deposit for me using his card.
Just needed to be sure if its Ok for him to initiate the transaction on my behalf?

I want to give the bank till COB today before making my decision.

What course and level are you aiming for? Please do some Google research, narrow down your choices, read the previous pages and you will have specific questions people can help answer

You have to do the work,there is no fast track in the UK

Ideally the key sessions are January, some schools/courses offer May and then September.

Except you are aiming for PhD which is year round. I am unsure if there are march/April sessions
