How many times did I hear it here?

"Nnamdi Kanu is going about his agitation the wrong way "

"Nnamdi Kanu should learn from Sunday Igboho who is going about it the right way"

In the end, no matter who was going about it the right or wrong way, Kanu and Igboho suffered the same fate from a federal government that does not care about the rule of law. The houses of both men were invaded, people were killed and both men fled the country

But look at Nnamdi Kanu's people rallying round him, holding international protests for his release, besieging the court premises when he comes, going as far as asking the President to release him.

Where are Igbohos people today? No where to be found

They said Kanu was spreading hate, insulting people and inciting violence

Ok, what support did they show Igboho who did none of those things?

Talk is cheap
At least Igboho did not bring insecurity and cause social and economic destabilization in his region for his selfish interest.

Abi what are you people doing, if not #holding on to the tail of a lizard", by making Yorubaland your biggest home away from home, by far, in the entire universe? Shameless hypocrites.
My grandfather equally told me the land belonged to the seller until the land is sold. A seller can no longer dictate what happens on the land when sold.

Between me and you, you're the one who has mentioned ethnic groups in this situation. I dont know why people like you have to bring ethnicity into a situation where no ethnic group was mentioned
You see why people dislike you Igbos thoroughly? On a forum full of educated and intelligent people you are attempting the most basic of duplicitous talk just to shore up your latent bigotry against Yorubas

Even a 2 year old child will tell you "people" as you used it simply replaces Igbo and Yoruba. To then say you did not mention ethnic groups just demonstrates the shamelessly divisive ways of you Igbos.

Just shut up and refrain from trying to promote anti-Yorubas tribalism by stealth. You are not intelligent enough to achieve that mission.

Lol. Why be insistent on buying land from someone you abhor you will then build a home on and live in with your family surrounded by "enemies"?

Do you know many upright and principled men who would do that?

Point of correction, the only place you will find Igbos in majority is Lagos, what does Igbo want to do with other Western state? It's the same way In Enugu, so stop all these pride in yourself, thinking you people are special becuase you know of computer village or Alaba market. If all the Igbos go, it's people like you that would persuade them to come back, crying food is scarce, transport is costly, or you can hardly get cheap products and all that sort.

So, stop ridiculing yourself with all your mentions when you know the truth. Igbos are found in millions in Lagos. Even me, I don't see myself preparering to go to OYO, or Ogun, what do I want to do there. Even if you see some Igbos there, just know is either they didn't have money to pay rent or something happened financially.

And I believe most Yoruba' landlords in Lagos do that, so Igbos would develop hinther lands for them. So when the prices are high, the business looking igbos would have to pack to places in their village to develop it for them.

And Igbos are not devious, so they help you guys develop. But as soon as Akwa Ibom and it's port, and Imo and it's infrastructural abilities are done or even Enugu, you'll be seeing a mass migration in no time. So, please dear, be less worried. Igbos have no time to steal your Lagos from you, they'll freely give you back when the time comes.

Abeg shut up. Walk the walk or shut up. Everyone is tired of your insultive excuses always targeted at other Nigerians.

Where in my mention did I say they aren't everywhere. Our point of discuss was Lagos, not Nigeria. Your people always term Lagos as Igbo heaven because you find Igbos making it what it is.
Isn't it why at a certain time, one governor years ago made a huge makrekt complex, and told citizens and Igbos are invited to take a lease in opening the market.

If it was a Yoruba land for only you guys why would the south western governor, I don't know if it's Ogun or Osun call on Igbos to take lease for the new market complex.

I read the thread and it was the truth to me. I was here when Yoruba's (your brothers per se) insulted Kanu that he was a coward, and even insulted the Igbo community, calling them cowards, chest beaters (I guess you know this word pretty well on this forum) and all sort of deragotory names.

But Igbos had little or no comment, or sometimes gave you back to back.

When Igboho came, Yoruba's even called him Omoluabi, singing praises to him, and it seemed all Yoruba's were with him at that time. They'd even mocked the Igbos too at that time, telling us he's a real leader. In which I believe he is. He had the zeal to stop the menace happening in a land that he was born in.

But as soon as the government took a hold of him, you come here to say Yoruba's respect heirachy, isn't that the most delusional piece of stuff in the century? Please aks yourself?

Respect a government meant to work for you, you voted him in to respect him. Government works for you, not the other way around.

With your concept we could very well be heading in some communist government, and not liberal as you purport.

I can even appreciate a man hating another man who has wronged him personally.

Yet what is behind an Abia man hating Tinubu with all his soul, when the man has done nothing to him, while he remains largely disinterested in talking about Orji Kalu, Theodore Orji, Ikpeazu and other leaders who have ruined Abia for him and his generations unborn?

Reallyhuh I just read this, you still added more comments to it. Now, let's use this scenario, If the government thwarts every avenue to trade in Yoruba land, like a good sea port, policies against a certian people and all that stuff what would happen to the nation.

This development of Lagos is intentional, but it wouldn't last long for it would back fire, do you want to know why, the reason is Igbos won't be here too long and you guys would have to be on your own. No more petting you to develop your land as the government has indirectly directed them to do with its Draconian policies.

The private funds we've (Igbos) used it to develop the little we can, and I forsee the future, there'll be a great man from the Igbo country, who would set the world ablaze with his findings, that he would use his trillions to develop his country. I see it, although it's still a vision.

That said, Igbos are way more developed if you bring all of the South west and south east together. Most south west places are villages with brown, rusty roofs, dusty roads, uncultured people, and all that sort.

I know your next claim would be "How would Igbos survive in their erosion Laden lands." Well, erosion is caused by massive population explosions on a vicinity. But with much control it can be reduced to the barest minimum.
LAGOS is the only place Yoruba's take pride in, when they've contributed little or nothing. All they do is head to the Igbo markets they've little contributed into and start collecting payments. There are more and more you need to know which shows Igbos if they were kept in the same level playing ground with the Yoruba's, the Yoruba's would be numb. grin

Well, you have it wrong. It shows you haven't traveled enough. There are luxurious estates in the east, luxurious palaces, the only thing Igbo lacks presently is making their center the hub of manufacturing, where they'll be producing goods that is internationally acceptable. That's the Igbos hubby, and the government isn't focusing on that. What your government is focusing on is making Nigeria a full Islamic nation, so they'll be able to have puppets.

But Igbo isn't that kind of people. We prefer to be known by the world, we prefer to be a jewel for the black race. Most times, this is the reason Igbos love Chinese and the Asians. These people were called names by the ruling whites in those days, but they geared up to develop their lands, and what are the whites commending them for today? My dear so many things, the Chinese and Asians are loved by various people for their ingenuity.

But Yoruba fits the Sokoto caliphate agenda well. Becuase as your brother said you believe in respect of hericachy. Okay, if you do, then be so. But you need not force the democratic Igbo nation in the scam of democracy.

Very soon, we would have the leverage and you'll surely see the Biafran state what it truly is. Not in nIgeria that never commends someone's imagination or ingenuity in using it for the betterment of the country.

Yorubas take nothing personally. If you're fair you will admit that Yorubas are always the target of Igbos ungracious and needless insults.

If a people are suffering from inferiority complex then perhaps they should isolate themsleves instead of trying to deal with it by constantly seeking to attack, belittle and insult others.
I'll advise you to look for somewhere else to pour out your frustrations. You said we called you evil cannibals? Have you ever put into consideration what you've called us? But anytime any of your people goes overboard and cross the lane by making useless comparison or try abuse other region, we shall give back in full dose and expose the silliness of such OP.

But for the record, for every luxury edifice you see in Alaigbo, there are millions of it in other region, if you claim to have estates, SW has more and expensive ones and no one make noise about it.

Afonjas are the most dangerous sets of people on this earth. Never trust these people. The day Igbo people will know that these people are their number one enemy, the better for them. Read every thread on Igbo or Biafra, who do you see there hating? Afonjas. Umu ekwensu!

This morning, their daughter Eniola Abiola was talking about Kanu possibly being killed in detention but she will never talk about her own blood Igboho. If you are not smart, you won't understand why she came out to say this out of no where. Narrating how Kanu is pretending to be strong in court, anumanu afonja who ask you? The government have paid her to go out there and test the response of the public if Kanu was killed like her father. This is what they are good at, faking how they love someone else that share nothing in common with them, don't even look like them but abandon their own Igboho.

Why can't you people make your point without bragging, always comparing and claiming what you are not. Anambra your NY, how develop is it. From Upper Iweka to Nteje and all those villages where communal war still exist, which one doesn't have brown roof?

Why have you all failed to distinguish a city from houses in the bush Towns in SS are heaven compare to what we have in Alaigbo, there is nothing interesting there that is why your people troops to other region in droves turning yourself to refugee in your own country
Which other regions are they trooping in, are yorubas not going to other people's region in droves including east.. some yorubas are still being trafficked as we speak to Lebanon for prostitution. We have many yorubas trapped in Libya who are refugees over there..

Apart from Lagos, other SW states are nothing to write home about. Their are the den of ritualists and human head hunters.. travel through Yoruba villages and see how many of your kinsmen have abandoned it for Lagos.. looking very underdeveloped, even the towns too are not left out., Too many young yoruba men who have turned to agberos and are littering constituting nusiances everywhere.
