What do you expect from a Confederation that cannot generate enough funds for herself...CAF champions League is not even enticing and many leagues in Africa is in a sorry state..always banking on FIFA's support.

You don't expect UEFA to say this because they have enough money from deals and TV rights

When I hear world cup will lose its prestige of relevance if it's held every two years I just laugh. This is the narrative that uefa has coined to shut down the idea and fellow Africans are buying it. The uefa champions league is held every year and we all quickly close in our offices and stay glue to TVs on match days, it has never lost its glory. Same is the friendly match called nations league that uefa is playing every year.
The non European nations stand to benefit more with frequent world cups because it will close the gap in quality between Europe and other confederation when players compete globally more often.
Hence this is a very good idea and other continent apart from Europe should support it. Infact club football is gradually taking all the glory at the detriment of intl football that's why when there's an intl break we all find the weekend boring but it shouldn't be so. A more frequent world cup would ensure top nations meet more often and we get more exciting matches in qualifiers or even the world cup itself. Welldone to Caf and fifa on this and I hope uefa does not succeed in shutting this down.

That is what they are good at, they have no plan to develop Africa football, they can't televise caf world cup qualifiers on TV, no VAR, when others are moving forward, they are moving backwards. They don't care about the well-being of the players, yeye people.

I disagree with your submission. If you don't give them more chance how will they improve on their performance?
Uefa is holding fifa by the jugular and it needs to stop,hopefully with 64 teams we can get more slots and mind you the south Americans have won almost same number of world cups as the Europeans yet they have only 4 slots too. Despite being heavily underrepresented in the competition they have been able to compete with the Europeans.
Does that not tell you it's not about performance but just injustice being done to favor europe.

Instead of them to fight for more slots for Africa in the world cup they are support the very unpopular idea of a world cup every two years.

No wonder Klopp is referring to AFCON as a little tournament. Every other continent hold theirs nations cup every four years but Africa's is every two years. Small tournament in deed.
