Please guy ,i somehow failed to backup my WhatsApp status yesterday morning and my WhatsApp is not showing any of my previous chats ,i have tried to restore them but no way . I can see the previous backups at my xender as mgstore, please how do i restore the previous chats to my current WhatsApp chats.please guys help

Those msgstore files you are seeing there are your WhatsApp backup!


Now open your file explorer
And locate that backup inside WhatsApp folder

Open WhatsApp folder inside your file explorer

Locate Database


You will see all this msg store files inside


Check for the most recent one! That u wanna use
Highlight it and click on rename

Remove the date
So it will be
Msgstore.db.crypt14


Now download whatsapp
Install it and sign up using the same number

After the normal phone number verification
It will search for backup

Automatically it will pick up
The one you remain

Allow it to restore and boom that all
