The alpha variant originated from the UK, Beta variant from South Africa, Gamma variant from Brazil, and Delta from India. So, the evolution of the virus is not peculiar to a single country or location.

Nigeria was not as exposed to covid19 like China, US or South Africa for various reasons.

If we have a high level of exposure u should take more measures and that’s what China did bt US didn’t until later and South Africa did bt didn’t do enough.

Don’t compare Nigeria level of exposure to China. We did what was required for our level and got the results to show.
