I quite agreed with u to some extent.. The transparency of COVID record that the country is keeping is topnotch... But I don't agree that the South African citizens were not heavy travelers... I understand that it could be the cycle of friends that U may have been keeping that formed your opinion...

But dear there are lots of South Africans around the world.. I have seen a lot of them in Australia both white and black.. and this is just a fraction of them that were leaving around the world...Many are nurses or doing some caregiver occupation...

Just double check your statistics once again and u will discover that a lot of them are getting out of South Africa as we speak..

Also I have no idea that South Africa is no longer a third world country..I didn't get the memo

Pls let me rephrase my statement,
Whites, Indian And coloureds South AfrIcan are heavy travellers and always willing to emigrate from South Africa. Most Southern Africans when they are overseas, they refer themselves as South Africans.
Some are even using South African passport.

Facts, Black South Africans will never go to overseas and work as nurses or care givers or most kind of the jobs. It will be rare for South African to work overseas or to have a plan or dream of getting a work overseas.

South Africa has all the characteristics of the developed country, that is why is now referred as a developed country.
