Guy bless you!
Not just their Black Friday but the so called price slashed they do and promote regularly
How to know:keep a screenshot of prices of items they advertise, then check during their price slashes.
What they do during the so called price slash is exactly how d Op posted;they put an arbitrary inflated price as d old price, then promote the same normal price as the price slash.
It's fraudulent.
This is not how it happens in other places they all want to copy. It's also not compulsory you do any fraudulent price slash!

Only few times do they slash and be careful because the product might be a faulty one.

I actually waited for the black Friday only to be disappointed by their prices.

Re: This Picture Clearly Explain Jumia Black Friday Scam by Kirkman: 11:24am On Nov 27, 2021
You might get a slash in price, Fine! But the difference in price will be added to your delivery fee/charges. In essence you are still paying the exact same price for the item before the Black Friday of a scam ever began. grin One gats be wise.

I bought the oraimo freepods for 10k

And many more and the shipping fees was cheap because i used a pickup station so don't just condem jumia xo fast
