for two days now, Gtbank bank has placed transaction restriction on my Gtbank account,
I can't perform any transaction of any kind, neither online, transfer, ATM or airtime purchase, please what does it means and what the best approach can i go about it.

When last did you make a transaction with the account?

There is nothing wrong with your account. You get that often from GTB especially when you try to do transaction on an empty account.

Just credit your account, and continue with your life.

Who did you scam this time?

Is your bank account on tier 1
Did you open an account without kyc
Did you do any transaction higher than what your bank account can hold?

the account has above #50k on it, it wasn't empty

Restrictions on bank accounts happens when -

*You receive an amount higher than what your account can receive

*Your account was reported for fraud

*Your BVN is compromised

Recently CBN has placed ban on account that seems not to comply with the bvn Terms and conditions. So you can approach or put a call through to your account officer to ascertain what the real issue is.
