i applied for this scholarship last year, wasn't shortlisted for the exams and this year i applied again and still hasnt received any mail to take the test and i have 4.4/5.00 cgpa. does that mean the scholarship isn't based on merit or there are other things they consider before shortlisting people for the exams?

I can't remember. I wasn't shortlisted but some people from my school got emails... either August or September I'm not sure.. and I've left the group chat so I can't search for it.

No one really knows the shortlisting criteria, but then, 4.4 is not one big deal compared to CGPAs flying around.

If you've not taken the test do so soon o. The 2 weeks time frame should be ending today.. I think.
