The award is all about friends voting their friends.

I would have loved it if Lewandoski was awarded, but based on votes, Messi won.

Those footballers you see on the pitch are friends, despite playing with their opponents.

We are just misunderstanding them. It could even be that Ronaldo voted for Messi, but their fans here in Nigeria are arguing and abusing themselves.

I don't know why a mature young man would be arguing about Ronaldo and Messi with small children.
