I think we'll need to change the constitution for that to happen. Right now we don't have a policy of establishing refugee camps.

It expensive because of legal issue....and they can allege many things..it better to set up refugee camps...you find them...on the street...drive them there...and have the refugee camp guarded and fenced. Only those who want to go back home on their own volition in those camps..go home.

We do need them, but we need to drastically reduce the dependence. Europe does something like 70% trade with each other, Asia like 50% and Africa 10% trade with each other (approximates). That's why we experience meltdowns when the west abandons us. That needs to stop - intra African trade needs to drastically improve to isolate ourselves from international shocks. And that sends us back to the original discussion around why we should learn about each other at school.

what can of control will be of benefits when that country can not offer the economic gifts that SA seeks ?

Have you not realized that even the Chinese are withholding and seizing things left right center in places like Kenya, Uganda an co... Because despite all the investment they made to spark growth, nothing has come out of it?

If you have a higher standard of living as well as a high cost of living, venturing into Africa will just be a waste of time because the rest of Africa does not have the same standard of living .

You will do well doing business with your peers

You cannot jump to the globe before you dominate the region. You insular gov and companies are unable to hack - and the rest is excuses.
