I wonder why we have to incorporate Laca in a 442 formation instead of the 4231 we're normally using, and why we started seeing some form of domination and league wins if Laca is soooo useless the way y'all are painting him out to be

We played good game against Aston Villa, Leicester (at least 30min), Watford.

This is far cry from the Sissy games we played against Norwich, Burnley, Brighton, crystal palace bar the Tottenham game which we all know that the reason was because it's a derby

Okay on a serious note , I don’t hate Lacazette; in fact I played more like him when I played upfront on the field , but I know that kind of playing style doesn’t earn u more goals.

A striker is expected to get the goals for the team no matter the match condition; not like when the opposition decides to focus on u the only thing u will offer the team is ur steely hold on the ball and ability to draw foul. Lacazette gives me this kind of vibes , does it often and makes me crave for a perfect 9 and not a number 10 wearing number 9 jersey .

My main argument is that you people are seeing Laca as some sort of balogun or nketiah when or if auba is not available just because he doesn't score or assist, which is what I'm against.

I'm not saying Laca is the perfect striker or that he should be our number 9 over auba. What I'm just saying is that since auba is off form presently, Laca should sit him out. This scenario have happened before and arsenal still played well, dominated teams and won games. The front 3 should be 2 striker auba and Martinelli troubling the full backs.(which is the major Liverpool strength.
Take out the full backs u will have their midfield going to support them.
The 10 role could be laca or ESR depending on tye reading of the game.
At substitute, bring pepe and any speed demon or saka.
With direct instructions to trouble their full backs.
We draw or lose by not more than 2-0

In short, lemme start from d summer. I woulda kept Saliba ,used White and loko-Shit money to buy bisouma. That's BTW.

Now with this team against Liverpool, the usual GK and defenders. Midfield of Partey , AMN and ESR flanked by Martinelli and Saka with Laca as CF. Readiness will determine who starts between AMN and Elneny. Auba will replace saka in second half when he tires and will play right wing not LEFT. Odegard and others will be brought on later to kill time.

Formation is 4231, game plan is stay compact when we ain't got d ball and press and press anytime we've got d ball with full backs minding their back.

Gabriel is an absolute unit on and off the field. Dude fought off a Spud criminal that tried to steal his Benz..

Why do you think Auba will shine on the right? Remember he's not a good crosser and old age is affecting him, so his wing play won't be too effective.
You're also forgetting the fact that laca is not a 90min player in a high intende match

This is not true; at least for me I Know its not. I am one of the few people on this thread that thought Arteta should not be given the job at that time. The moment he was employed I wasn't too hopeful cos I know giving a big club to a school boy coach is going to be a long ride. When he got us the FA cup I thought maybe he's learnt enough to give the major title challengers a run for their money this season. He has been disappointing and I'm open to having him replaced if that will make us better.

Praising the team when they perform under him irrespective of the opponents does not necessarily mean one is comfortable with mediocrity. The same way criticizing them after a shameful showing does not mean one is hating.

Auba's duty is to cross ball into d box not minding how bad. I will tell martinelli and ESR to hover around d box anytime auba pushes forward with d ball.

The Laca stuff is easy. Martinelli plays up front no matter whoever I bring on in place of Laca. Tho depending on what d opponents do, I might even bring on elneny when Laca gets tired and ESR then plays wide.
