Sometimes you just wonder if Lending out your car is a Sin or a friend/family member somehow gets access to your car keys and zoom, he's taken off. When I was younger my Dad told me a story of how he bought his first car and decided to travel to University of Ife (now OAU) to check on his brother-in-law (my mum's younger brother) who was at that time an undergraduate in the campus. He got there all the way from Lagos, parked his car and went in to see "my Uncle".....along the line he took a nap while his key was on a nearby table. This my very naughty uncle and two of his hostel mates picked his key and went on a joy ride outside the Campus.. Long story cut short they had a fatal accident and the car was totaled as in complete write off... My Dad's ONLY consolation was that nobody died. So in a way he was still thanking God. New car gone.... My own experience loading........ In the mean time share yours. 2 Likes |

BusterG: No experience I don't allow anyone else drive my car...I rather give the person transport to wherever he or she is going to or drive them wherever myself.. I don't have any energy for family meeting or friends guilt-tripping me when shits hits the fan... Very few people will drive and care for my car the way I do... Funny thing is cars seem to know when a stranger drives them...when the stranger returns them, something almost always seems off I don't ask to drive people's cars...so it's kinda easy to tell people to stay away from mine... Of course exceptions can be made in very dire emergencies...but aside that, my car is out of bounds 11 Likes |

It was actually my mechanic, he wanted to test drive after fixing my brake pad, I was waiting at his workshop, only to see something that looked like my car dangling towards his shop, I need to make sure it was my car by checking the plate number, Lol. Headlight don break, tire dey dangle like Weytin I no know, I was in shock. We end up putting money together to fix it but the car wasn't the same again, had to sell it off. 7 Likes |

I saw a recent post about a lady that had her car crashed by a mechanic and i remembered this post that i the mods refused to post on frontpage. So on this day, i wanted to go chill somewhere make i relax my brain from naija wahala. Like every other young couple i gas look for confirm excuse to comot house else my wife no go gree. So in a bid to hatch my already planned paroles, i told her i wanted to barb my hair. Hair wey no dey gree grow...Lol I had recently just bought my Honda babyboy after managing to secure a 12 month LAPO loan to add to pay up for the toks car..... Still remember my plate number like tmrw, drove to the next major street, called up a few of my homeboys and decided to kukuma cut my hair so i fit get alibi abi evidence at least when i get back at midnight after shayo and skele. I saw a car wash just few meters from the Barbing Saloon and decided to let the guys do their thing make the car sef baff after many days of lagos waka. hmmmm.... i enter car wash, drop key and strolled to the barbing salon abut 6 buildings along the same road. After barber don bend left, bend right and center he finish my gorimapa hair........I came out and started strolling towrads the car wash...... WETIN I SEE BE LIKE FILM......... A crowd had gathered ahead, people screaming, confusion everywhere......just by the car wash....wetin happen. With my mind racing, i started jogging abi running towards the place. By the time i reached there, what i saw almost traumatized me. Half of my newly bought Honda baby boy was inside the wall directly opposite the car wash. Serious crash. The car wash boy that didnt know the difference between accelerator and brake had apparently tried to re-park abi relocate the car. To cut the long story short, he missed killing a 5 month year old baby by whiskers. I was the one begging/stopping the people beating him. My parole spoilt......no where to go again.
