This is a two way thing, Going into busines or Building a career(Teaching).
In my Opinion, Hold on to the teaching job and let someone ride the bike and remit funds to you. (These has challenges).
Now work on getting say a tricycle from the bikes proceeds, lots of states are banning bike and depending on your location, it may hit u.

Also develop ur teachihg career such that you can handle even online classes etc. As Corona troubles the world, lots of proffessions would change their service approach.

Now I need advice on this. Cos I have been thinking of quiting and focusing on the bike work for the moment. I make way pass 6k on a good day but at that school we are paid 1k/ day.

My only challenge now is getting accommodation to pack out and focus on my stuff. I have also thought about entering into transport business since I started this bike work and I also intend going into delivery business too.

Pls what do I do?

Alaye drop the sch job. Cos that's what am will be doing too. Next yr jan

IN a day u will make the amount the sch is paying per day and even have time to rest and sleep.

Drive from 7-12pm and go and sleep.
Start by 4-8pm and enter ur house.

Think about that.

Sch will waste ur time because of 1k per day

Try as much as possible get a place to stay and focus on your bike work.

Look for someone else to give the bike to and the person must remit no less than 3k daily.
If you can be making more than 3k for a few hours work, one crook now wants to be remitting only 1k after a full day's work. He must be ment. Before releasing the bike, make sure an undertaken at the police station with a guarantor you can easily trace. Too many criminals out there and they're the ones quick to shout no jobs.

After you've comfortably saved enough money, you can now decide if you want to quit or continue running both. I would personally advise you remain on the job. Economy is not smiling right now, it's very risky to rely on one means of income.

The bike will spoil in less down 2 months trust me. Except you’re into transport business yourself . I mean you get the agbero vibe and ready to break bottles, don’t try it atall. It’s better done by oneself. Coming from experience. grin

Riding bike will make u gbo like ogbomosho.
U can't be wealthy doing it alone. You need people to work for u cos 1k here, 3k there and 5k somewhere is better than a person making 4k alone. That's the principal of wealth. Give ur bike to reliable person while you continue with ur school and then work towards getting a school bus for more biz. This is the way u can grow.

Look for someone who can give you 2,000 returns daily, I believe all repairs are on whoever will ride the bike for you.

The bike business gives you room for growth, you can expand over time, as a teacher you can't expand. You're fixed. Anything that will limit your growth should be done for a limited time.

Your bike gives you more money than school too, with more control over your daily activities.

You can easily save up, buy more bikes, make more money and diversify, school you can't, miracle can't happen your income is fixed except extra lesson.

Don't give your bike to anyone, even if they remit good amount, they can't manage it like you.

Look for a place to stay temporarily. Accommodation is the only edge school have over the bike, will you leave there for life, with wife and kids, leave now that you can.

Resign from that job jare and focus on your bike bizness then try and get one or two home lesson you are good to go.. You can try and get a place to squat

The guy's problem is that if he should continue with the school, he won't be able to run his bike business. And if he should resign from the school, he'll vacate the school's premises and he hasn't gotten an apartment

As a guy man, i will tell you to leave that teaching job. Look for a friend that can accommodate you for like 3-4 months. Teaching job of 30k is slavery bro. Quit it because you won't grow. Enter the street 100%. Save a bit and get a room apartment ( face me i slap you). After a while, try repaying your girls mum for the bike( e get why and don't ask me)..Hustle like say you no go skool. The times are getting harder, so be wise. My first job after Nysc in 2015 was a teaching i got in 2017, guess what, i was being paid 14k for about 5 subjects. To cut the long story short, i quited the job at the most inconvenient time of my life. I was. damn broke. I summoned up courage to go learn printing and design. I wasnt good with design, but i made sure i learnt the printing business to a 100%, i can even operate some machines like ctcp and large format...i learnt for 3 years without pay..three years no money, no new clothes, once in a. while i get okrika(wetin concern me). I learnt it with zeal and by beginning of next year, am starting my own fully owned large format..

I had no gf and i made sure i never lose focus...At this stage of your life, i expect you to leave that school immediately and set a. plan of 2 years from your bike business...Shun family financial demands and grow thyself...just 2 years of dedication and pls don't bring a woman yet into your life( wife)..

Mr eze came from IMO state without nothing, his brother helped him to get keke napep based on returns..Mr eze worked like a ( jackey). A year after, Mr eze paid in full and took ownership, 3 months later, he took another one on higher purchase, gave the old one to another for daily returns plying same route...Now Mr eze has a wife..Mr eze story inspired me away from starting yahoo...be wise ...take your 6k daily job serious and save...shalom...

note: for those saying hoe did i survive...When i started, i got help from my dad..monthly stipend of 12k...believe me i just ( runmo)..wasnt easy...transport alone is 300 naira daily...at times i soak garri for the whole day...at times friends will help me tfare or food. Then i started getting little printing jobs from which i was able to buy okrika( what i can afford)...o.p, try dey go church or mosque or go for grant interviews. Some churches do this...i got part of my funding from grant..meet people and put your ears on the ground for opportunities. Not as if i can't get more from my dad, but at some point in your life, you will ashamed to collect more...When i started getting small gigs, i stopped receiving from my dad..it wasn't easy at first, but i stopped it and i thanked God for that.

Bro if you can change location and keep both but if you can't mehn leave their Damm job because if even if you comfortable make 1500/month you are better
Giving someone your bike is a no no they would take in more than you and you would not recognize your bike it's better to even pack your bike save from salary and resume fully nothing pays better than a self managed business
Was faced with similar situation I saved got a taxi and left a full laden job with lots of Sir's and Ma's and am living my life

Look for a cheap accommodation to rent or pair with a friend, do the bike job full time and have a fixed daily savings; which you can be giving to roadside POS operators for deposits.

Save up, pay for a better accommodation, and pay up the loan.

Then expand pursuing your vision of going into the "transportation business". It's very OK to start small, but remaining small is a NO No

My candid advice for you is handle your bike yourself. As for accommodation, that shouldn't be a big deal since you are a hustler and you already have a hustling tool. Find a way to squat for now. Remember don't give that bike to someone to ride for you to avoid stories that touch.
As for the teaching job, as long you are willing to get your reward in heaven, you can remain as a teacher in that school.

stick to your job...look for someone else, tell him these terms..
1. A known guarantor to stand for him.
2. with an undertaking... and to be
a) remitting 30k for 5days...let him take 1day being Saturday, sunday for servicing of the bike...and no work, unless emergency..
b) or you do the bike on hire-purchase...x2 of what you bought...within 9months...

Gather some money and rent a one room apartment even if it's face me I face u for now so that u can continue with ur bike business. The bike business is better than the teaching job. I feel for those who earn below 50k per month in this current Nigeria economy.

Riding the bike himself is very profitable 100% and within little period of time, he will hit big if he’s serious , although comes with big risk ..

Get a low cost place to stay outside the school, continue teaching 8 - 2 at least your monthly salary is sure, then do your bike work after school yourself . When you see you have raised enough money maybe to get a second bike, you can resign from the teaching job and focus squarely on you bike business

I understand your plight but I will advice you on the following underlisted point:
1. Working in a private school for 30k/month is not good at all for someone that have dreams of making it in life.
2. The accomodation that school gives you is a bait to tied you down in the school which makes you not to beyond than your nose.
3. I appreciate your doggedness spirit of delivery business with motor bike.
4. You can as well seek an employment with another school within your area because multi stream of income is good.
5. Doing bike business on full time comes with its challenges like touts, ticket and taskforce.
Therefore consider above info to decide your next step. Ire oooooo

You are unskilled and you need to become skilled.

The older you get the more complex you want to be financially and career wise. One day you will wake up and realise you are operating beneath your level as an adult that need to maximise his time and strength to provide.
What you need to do is to find a way to do BOTH

So Go to teach and do your business, also start planning your escape route from the school by doing a 5 YEAR PLAN.

* Do you need more education to work at a bigger institution ? Then don't abuse the school so you can get a reference
* Do you want to be a businessman in 5 years ? Then keep saving and keep going to both jobs like I said earlier.

ur school is foolish so man can't hustle with two jobs, quit look for another school since u love teaching n combine both cause country hard bike alone won't sustain u

God forbid bad thing if u face the bike biz squarely what if u are ill and ur illness can not make u ride that means u will not eat for that day. The best thing is to look for a trustworthy u can give ur bike to at a good price of delivery and be running the two at once.. If u save 10 from ur teaching job together with 2k on daily basis for a month that should be around 70plus.. Some bankers no collect that kind of money ooo..
Lol it’s not advisable entrusting anyone with bike for daily returns . hire purchase will be better.. even at that , u must go and live in oshodi/ mushin for two months first . grin
