My freezer that has not been used for up to 2 years is faulty. The green light comes up when plugged but no sound from it and it does not get cool either.
We bought it in 2016 January, it has a warranty of 3 years on compressor.

What could possibly be wrong with it?
Is there still warranty on it?

Pls help before I know the next action to take. I do not want just any kind hands (technician) to opened it because my landlord's freezer has not remain the same since a quack repaired it.

One thing I know about fridge and freezer is this; don't keep them idle once u have started using them. The longer they stay,the more they rot inside.
And the more they stay unused,the more their prices depreciate.
U need a technician as nobody will tell you anything here without seeing and testing it first.

Is the freezer empty? Try stocking it up to check if it will freeze.

We used it for 1 year and didn't use it for d next 1 year because of no power supply. We just started using it this April o.

Maybe we will check the thermocool office we bought it from to see if they have a technician. Thank you

Yes thank you. I added more bags and other things. It's working perfectly now.
