Go to their office tomorrow with your passport and meet them at the gate explaining your situation. They'll book you manually

Has anyone used a POF like that without issue?

Red list
If you are arriving from a red list country, the University will either reimburse or credit your student account with £1,210 towards costs incurred for your stay in the Managed Quarantine Facility (MQF), PCR testing on arrival in UK and travel to Gloucestershire.

For all other arrivals

If you are travelling from any country that isn’t on the UK Government’s Red List, we will reimburse you £210 towards your PCR testing costs and travel to Gloucestershire. For students who have booked University managed accommodation, we will offer a free self-isolation option of up to 10 days prior to the contract start date.

If you arrive in the country, are legally required to quarantine or self-isolate and do not yet have means to purchase essentials, please email accommodation@glos.ac.uk to confirm this, so they can issue a food voucher as necessary. Students are encouraged to ensure they have arranged appropriate payment cards before arrival in order to be able to order items as required.

It’s just a misconception here. You don’t have a residence status until you arrive UK, then obtain it. Just having student visa does not automatically grant you UK residence while in Nigeria.

However, if you were studying there and came back to Nigeria to do one or two things, and this restriction was announced, then you can travel back on the basis of your residence status as a student.

I hope I clearly explained this.

Don't print from the day the deposit was made. Request for a statement of account from the day after. For example, if you made a deposit of your POF into your account on the 3rd of December, when you want to request for a print out from the bank, let them start the printing from the 4th of December.

Please advice, my friend has unconditional offer from Bournemouth Uni and university of law for business analytics. BU tuition is more expensive by £2000 but ULaw is in London so higher cost of living. Which of the schools should she take ?
