The engine is not design for such load. Also the maneuvering of Keke design will not be compatible with such length and not that easy to drive. It's now like driving a trailer when trying to make u-turn and end up crashing other people vehicle. 107 Likes 4 Shares |

This Keke can not carry 8 persons including the driver because of the load, judging from the center of gravity. Secondly, hope the engine capacity is increase to accommodate the load. Keke riders are extra reckless! na so trucks, trailers and buses dey finish thm everyday from apo to area 1 road, dei-dei to zuba - suleja road, nyanya - keffi roads! No single day that you don't have not less that 3 fatal accidents on these roads that must involve keke with many of their occupants killed or maimed! MAJORITY OF THEIR RIDERS ARE SO STURBON, MEAN, WICKED AND TOP GRADE TRAMADOL CONSUMING BOYS! THEY DONT HEAR HORN AND THEY NO SEND YOU! THEY STOP AT WILL AND ENTER THE ROAD AS THEY SO WISH NOT MINDING IF A VEHICLE IS COMING OR VERY CLOSE! FRSC CAN ATTEST TO THE NUMBER OF CASUALTIES FROM KEKE ACCIDENT EVERY DAY! I don't think this is safe o.. Small touch 7persons don go be that o.. The thing too long to have that kind of structure like the old keke. Normal car sef no carry 7person,except na overload or say na space bus.. D designer should go back and improve on it.. This is not fit for niaja roads and its hazards.. 6 Likes |

Pauldollars:I am sorry to say but this is not innovation It is engineering stupidity. 1. Keke is not a mass transit vehicle and has not been structured as such. Its maneuverability and portable size is one of its major advantages. 2. A 3-Wheeler doesn't have the balance that 4-Wheelers have. To extend it as done changes the center of gravity and introduces additional stress factors to the lower plates and body structure that contributes to the instability of the Keke. If I may ask, what compensates in the structure for the additional 2 human beings and their weights added through the extra seat in the center? 3. Extra weights increase full consumption and low fuel consumption is one of the advantages of Keke. Has the engine and fuel capacity been altered to accommodate for these extra weights and their own consequent increase in weight? I doubt it looking at those pictures of the "limo" Keke. If what this so called innovation is about is simply extending the length of an existing Keke design and creating room for extra passengers just like a vehicle hack, then it is just plain stupid. Nigerians can be innovative no doubt. But this is not one of those moments. 16 Likes |
