All of a sudden, a newspaper article ( Editorial piece) of 1925 is now tenable while other contrary documents written during the same period is hastily dismissed by you guys. Imagine the hypocrisy.

There was no where in the original letter Azikiwe referred to Opobo as ibo.

In the same article, Zik alluded to the fact that " The ibos themselves are a war-like tribe dating from the sixteen century but after civil war in Benin they migrated and settled on the east side of the river Niger"

I hope you would also agree with Zik that ibos were once under Benin kingdom.
