For flight schedule and reliability, I'll say it depends on a lot of factors, December is usually their season, so I don't think any airline would delay their passengers cos they'll have their tickets sold out before departure date... meaning they'll all keep to their schedule.

If it's during the dormant periods of the year like May, June, July...etc, and you aren't flying to a commercial destination like Lagos or Abuja, then you're most likely going to be delayed cos they certainly wouldn't fly an empty plane.

The delay is to see if they can find passengers right there in the airport who will book and join you guys on board.

If you're looking for cheap airlines, try Green Africa airline, they're crazily cheap, I flew them from Lagos to Enugu. They're a new airline and don't have much passengers, so I bought my ticket right there at MM airport and boarded them, the plane wasn't filled up and we were delayed for about an hour before departure.

It was a very small aircraft so the turbulence was terrible. But all the same the flight was ok.

If you're looking for professional services, try air peace or Arik air, the only thing about air peace is that if your destination is lagos or Abuja, you have to book like 3-6 days before your flight or else the tickets for your destination will be sold out.

It was what made me book green Africa, I was actually trying to book air peace but was lazy until their whole tickets were sold out.

Finally avoid road travel this season, Nigeria isn't safe.

Nice reply. But buying tickets at the airport is always at an outrageous prices. Date of flight also matters.

For popular airlines like air peace yes for new airlines nope...I bought my green Africa airline ticket roughly 40k at the airport, which is far cheaper than someone who bought air peace a week ago.

I wouldn't know how much their tickets will be currently, cos it was some months ago.

Destination is key green Africa is not available for all local destination. In fact no airline is. It the duty of your flight agent to get you the best deal for your flight wink

You're absolutely right... destination is key, I mentioned it in my previous reply.

Also, avoid booking local flights through flight agents, you'll pay more.

Go to the flight's website and book it online, if it's an emergency flight which you didn't have enough time to prepare yourself for, then you can book it right there at the airport, the only disadvantage is that you'll most likely not be able to book your preferred airline.

I can't agree less but for the fact that you think paying more to flight agent has no reward is far from truth. I'm one and I can tell you that the benefits is endless especially for international tickets.

Everyone has their limitations but the info I have as a flight agent is not the same with someone who book online. If something goes wrong who do you call? I bet you've had cases like that.

You're right...once you have a dedicated agent, you can always call them ahead of time to process a ticket for you.

If the airlines are smiling to the bank, the agents should as well and the customer should be satisfied.

At the end, everyone is happy.

It's just now I realized you're an agent...it would be very wrong of me to discredit your business. So I wish you a thousand fold of customers this season.

Nope.

Only if you're traveling outside Nigeria to countries that have placed Nigeria on their covid 19 watch list.
