To the experience ones,
I want to embark on service next year but I really need the steps to take.
The first thing to do,
Where to go,
Who to meet,
The site to visit, and when the portal will be open for 2022 batch.
Registration first or Jamb Regularization first?

Alright here we are,
The first thing to do is to do a research and look for 4 states that are peaceful in Nigeria,
That as well pays corpers state allowance. Cos you are going to choose those state of your choice during your registration. This is how it was done, but it seems the system changed and nysc now select any state for corpers during the last registration. Which means there is no longer option for choice.

Next you will need to be sure you did your clearance in school and collect your results or certificate

You don't need to meet anyone per say, but try joining group chats for 2022 prospective Corp members. Try check Nairaland nysc board always.

The official nysc site is https://portal.nysc.org.ng

No one can tell when the portal will open for 2022, but you will get update from the groups you joined, and you can keep checking the nysc site as well

Jamb regularisation first before serving, without regularisation, there is no nysc except jamb offered you admission directly and you have jamb admission letter to study in the school you graduated from.

Coming to Regularization and Registration, which one comes first.

After you are regularized, that's when you can register.

Ok, so the Regularization will be done in Jamb office and can be done in alias.

Yea, regularisation is done in jamb office. When you get there, just tell them you want to do regularisation.
Hold some money while you are going.
