There was nothing like southern region in Nigeria

Ekwueme drafted zoning and the intention was clear same way he created the 6 geopolitical zones we have

Power is not coming to south either we do zoning ( to south east ) or everyone contest

Ekeredu is the only sw man that have got the mind of restructuring and true federalism. Tinubu is a northern loyalist, osibanjo doesn't have the carriege. Nigeria need a strong man with strong political will power to set things straight.

You have a point. Mr tinubu doings has shown his insincerity on restructuring.

Osibanjo also shy from what he was said to have once defended.

But is there anyone from the east that would tow the part of restructuring

What is zoning oga ? Is there anything like northern zone and southern zone ?
there is in d structure of political parties in Nigeria.

In 1999,it was d south n we had

Obj/atiku

Then it was north

Yaradua/Jonathan

Then south's turn

Jonathan/sambo

Then north turn

Buhari/osinbajo

Then south again.

What u people don't understand is that north understands d meaning of power n if u check d trend since 1999 they have always been president for 8 years n they become vp for another 8 years

They know for sure if they become president for 16 years it means they will b out of power for complete 16 years n they know d implications.

So this is how u analyse politics,u bring out facts n precedents,u don't just drop your wish

Which other are you talking about? We have Southern and Northern Nigeria.

I'm speaking for APC alone, Power will be zone to the South.

I do not know about other Political Party like APGA, PDP ect.

The two Yoruba candidates that defeated the two ibos candidate are Christians o.

So there should be no excuse of Northerners voting for them because they are muslims.

Igbos know they stand no chance competing against a Yoruba man in the 2023 presidential election, the only geopolitical region the igbo candidate will likely defeat the Yoruba candidate will be in the South East.

I don't know about the PDP, but in the APC, if Igbos can't fight for the ticket, then they should forget it. No matter the blackmail or wailings from them, the Presidential candidate won't be microzone to their Political Region.
God bless u

They know they have no chance of winning if it comes to d south that's y they want micro zoning or north continue ruling.

I asked mrvitalis if there has ever been micro zoning in d history of Nigeria since we returned to democracy n he doesn't have an answer

I asked him if a particular region has ever ruled concurrently for 16 years n he still doesn't have an answer

Never seen among our se governors may be cos of there selfish political interests. It's even non state actors that are more vocal for restructuring. If Ekeredu can bring restructuring to reality, everyone benefit at last.

Nobody is holding the five south East state.
But dragging other state is the problem.
If the southEast politicians can work together to get Biafra like the way the north shield bandit no one will hold them.

Tolu, stop deceiving your jibiti ewedu skull and face reality.

BTW, there will be no yoruba president in 2023, you have taken your turn, Tinubu lackey feeling funkey.

so u are saying a northerner will pick an igbo b4 Yoruba?
On what basis?
Is it d love u have always shown them by calling them derogatory names?
Or believing fulani is responsible for all your problems?
Or how u are spending big money to discredit their sons government?

Just tell us what will make a northerner pick an igbo b4 yoruba?
Politics is more than what you read on the pages of newspaper.
Tinubu once had adverse opinion on Buhari, but see them today.
OBJ fought Atiku to a standstill but what happened in 2019?
FFK has been a strong critic of Buhari, did it stop Buhari from personally welcoming him to APC?
Ayo Adebanjo, late Yinka Odumakin, Chief Olu Falae and host of Afenifere have taken turns to disparage the north.
Yakasai, El Rufai, Sanusi, Junaid Mohammed, Ango Abdullahi and host of ACF and NEF have taken turns to disparage the South West. But did it stop the two regions from working?
In politics, mutual suspicion is inevitable, but on the table interests take precedence. Atiku is loved in the East than in the West: does that mean Atiku can't pick his running from West?
There's no trust in politics, it's all game of interest and you only trust yourself to protect your interest.

The stumbling block to a SE president are NE and NC. Because based on my understanding of politics, these zones have strong points. But you SW, NW and SS, nobody is even looking at them.
Forget all these noise.
So SW is not a stumbling block? You people always think you are clever by half. The biggest stumbling block to SE presidency is the greed of SW politicians.

SW is in South and they've done well in forcing APC to surrender the ticket to South.
But put your ears on the group and hear the sounds of the beat.
1. Go and read the statement of Senator Hanga, former national chairman of CPC, on why he left APC. The party is destroyed by the north so they can take power through PDP. It's a ploy.
That convention of next year is just a fluke because once Boni Haruna precides on the convention, APC ceases to exist. It's their plan.
2. Two weeks ago, Orji Kalu had meeting with PDP leaders. Mind you, he is a principal member of the Senate(chief whip); yet he is hold open meeting with opposition.
If you will take out time to monitor the statements of some prominent northern figures and the body language of Buhari towards APC, you will understand my point.
Next years, many northern APC governors will join PDP. Take it to bank.
In PDP, NC and NE are laying claim and they have strong points and popular politicians.

I support Southern President, not necessarily Yoruba President. It may be Yoruba, Igbos, Ijaw, Itshekiri or even Calabar. It must be a Southerner.

Both Presidency will not be zoned to any village in the South. All interested tribes in the South should bring out their candidates and mobilize for him.

In all fairness, the South East must produce the next president but if that won't work out, the North East can do same.

The ticket should be open for every geopolitical zone in the south, be it SW, SS, or SE. The 3 three of them should compete for the ticket.

Liars.
All you guys care about is Tinubu, Tinubu, Tinubu or nobody else. Haven’t y’all been allover the place threatening people who are against Tinubu?

Look, if you are for Southern president, the right thing is let another zone in the South who have not produced a president produce the next president. You can’t be for rotational presidency and yet want to double dip.
