Yes we all are. In fact we have been anxious since 2019 but he is not the minister of interior so stop mounting pressure on him. When he has information he will share with us like he has been doing.

This is my exact thought, reason 32575329 to know the Nigerian government do not care about her people, because what would it cost to have a proper timeline of event so applicants plan accordingly? Sadly not everyone expectant will be successful, now imagine having your life on hold for 2 years and getting your hopes dashed in the end... I know some may argue "find something to do while you wait" but this economy does not even offer any opportunities one could get by on. Anxiety is at an all time high because people are just holding on to the only glimmer of hope they have.... not everyone has the mental capacity to withstand the trauma that may come with not scaling through haven waited so long... and I pray we find something that keeps the fire burning within but this isn't the right way to get things done if we are serious about moving forward as a country.

Like many here, I have many things on hold too, and as scary as it appears, thought of missing out crosses my mind every now and then. After all, nobody said getting to the final screening equates to appointment letter. This is the more reason why the delay is ill-advised and detrimental to ones state of being.

Even those who "have something doing" cannot take their mind off this recruitment. So whether you have something doing or not, it does not shield you from the mental trials the delay subjects one to.

The recruitment is becoming like the Igbo phrase "echi anu ozo" (tomorrow we hear another story). To the extent that valid information becomes guess work.

We keep longing for a better country with better ways of doing things. Where there are specific timeline and if there are unforseen circumstances like the pandemic of last year, a course of action is still completed within a reasonable time frame.

For the sake of generations yet to come, it is my sincere wish that we get get better.

I will keep checking the portal and The Corps Facebook handle almost every 2-3 hours as usual. Hopefully, respite is near!!!

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) wishes to announce to the general public that the Final Documentation List for applicants for the recruitment in 2019 is not yet released to the members of the public

NSCDC disclosed that documentation of successful candidates will come soon after immigration is done with documentation. To this end, no date is fixed for this exercise.
