The 5G license bid price has risen to $231,146,643.96 million in round 7.

The three bidders, MTN, Airtel and MAFAB are still hanging on and none ready to step down.

The commission, has however reduced the bid time to 10 minutes per round.

Current price now $240.39m per slot in the 8th round of bidding. All three bidders actively participating.

Current price per slot at $251.2 million in ninth round, with all three bidders still in the race.

MTN Nigeria and Mafab Communications Limited have been awarded the slots for the 5G spectrum in the auction by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for a price of $273m.

Airtel dropped at the 11th round

Mafab is a newcomer tech firm.

Mafab Communication and MTN came first and Second at today's 5G two slots auction.

Mafab Communications is a subsidiary of Althani Group Chaired by Dr Musbahu Muhammed Bashir. Mafab Communications gave MTN and Airtel run for there money by outbidding the duo and became first to get 5G slot follow by MTN.

MTN retail offer (share sales) closes tomorrow or perhaps midnight today. All along, MTN only needed money to pursue 5G spectrum broadband. And to think I was just searching and researching their performance in the stock market trying to make an investment decision.. has to be another money heist episode in the series.
