iamoyindamola:It does not matter if he came back in time for the training or not. You have no idea the kind of ripple effect such act of indiscipline will cause if allowed without repercussions |

Itsrm:I'm actually not supporting auba, inshort I want him out But this Arteta have a way off asslicking when it matters If this guy was firing in all cylinders this punishment won't happen that's my problem |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 9:15am On Dec 14, 2021 |
iamoyindamola:Lol... Auba was still giving us goals wen he was dropped against Tottenham for coming late. In auba's defence he said it was the traffic that held him up, but arteta was having none of it and started lacazette. So I still think you're wrong on the bolded |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 9:32am On Dec 14, 2021 |
Jodera:No He wasn't scoring as usual na, auba has never had it good with scoring since Arteta take over No be Arteta that threw Pepe under the bus for a red card that we drew the game and pampered xhaka for a red that we lost |

Auba no get the Spirit to try that will Wenger. He messed up. But few coaches will talk to the press about it even if they're pissed big time. Two wrongs. Mou and Pogba is example enough Zidane and Bale Mou and Balotelli Anyways, Too low from Auba. |

Rumour has it that Uncle Rammy Oladele (the meth man) , Gabriel and Benson are all in line to become the next captain. Laca and Auba likely to go, xhaka may be leaving too. I like Rammy but I'll like someone from the Defence. Gabriel no sabi English like that and Benson na newbie. Tierney? NEPA is more consistent than him this days |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 10:08am On Dec 14, 2021 |
mostob:Tierney is the best man but i wont mind ramsdale only if the senior players are gone(as useless as xhaka is we have to respect he's one of the senior players) |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 10:11am On Dec 14, 2021 |
iamoyindamola:Tierney has passion but he is not vocal enough. And I don't think Xhaka will accept the captainship. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 10:24am On Dec 14, 2021 |
iamoyindamola:This is exactly my point . U don’t like Arteta as a coach , but it doesn’t necessarily mean he did wrong giving Auba the axe. Auba messed up and as such should face the music without anybody making a case for him or claiming because training didn’t happened on Wednesday as planned , then Auba should be left off the hook. I am a firm believer in holding people accountable for their actions and inactions especially when u have a lot of people who want to borrow a leaf from whatever the outcome of the situation will be . |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 10:33am On Dec 14, 2021 |
Itsrm:Exactly my point. If u allow Auba to get away with it unpunished, u will be surprised that one day u will see small boys like Smith-Rowe, Saka showing signs of indiscipline and then we will be blaming the coach for not being able to handle star players. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 10:33am On Dec 14, 2021 |
BlueRayDick:I never made a case for auba, he should be punished more than this now that there are proofs he went to Barcelona. My issue is with Arteta he hasn't shown to be a man that will punish one and pamper the other if they both commit the same maybe that's why auba decided to try his luck and see the reaction offence that's why I said if auba was in form he won't do shit |

BlueRayDick:Absolutely. One edge Arteta has is that he is a disciplinarian. This he must be commended for rather than being attacked. He was captain of this club and is in a position to discipline whoever plays here. We do not have the full details of what transpired (going to France to visit mum, or going to Barcelona to get a tattoo) but one thing is sure he missed training and violated COVID-19 rules. He is the captain and highest earner and should live by example. His current form should even worry him/us more than being axed. |

Spy360:I just did, pepe v xhaka both collected stupid red card against teams we can beat We drew the game pepe got sent off, you threw pepe out and accused him of sabotaging the team forcing him to apologized we drew the game away against leeds On xhaka's case we lost the game at home against soton you went ahead to embrace xhaka even when the fans and team want apology for his stupidity nothing was done. After pepe served his suspension he wasn't use for some time while xhaka was bought in immediately after his suspension |

Spy360:Abi ! I just read this is his 3rd disciplinary breach . Imagine a captain in the space of less than 2 years being the captain has had as much as 3 disciplinary breaches recorded against him. Which leader be that ? In February he breached the covid-19 rule just to get a tattoo. Which kind example is that from a leader ? Let’s hope the club will select a more stable person with leadership qualities as our next skipper . Auba’s watch has ended ! |

Aubameyang stripped of Arsenal captaincy, dropped for game LONDON (AP) - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was stripped of the Arsenal captaincy on Tuesday after his latest disciplinary breach. The striker will also not be considered for selection for the English Premier League game against West Ham on Wednesday, Arsenal said. Aubameyang was left out for the game against Southampton on Saturday because of what manager Mikel Arteta described as a "disciplinary breach." Aubameyang is reported to have travelled to France during last week, with the consent of the club, but returned a day late. "We expect all our players, particularly our captain, to work to the rules and standards we have all set and agreed," Arsenal said. "We are fully focused on tomorrow´s match." Aubameyang was left out of the team for the north London derby against Tottenham in March because of a "disciplinary issue," according to Arteta at the time. |
