You may not like what he said but that's absolutely the truth. Applying for multiple positions within a single organization at a time brings to question your level of professionalism. It creates doubt in your employer as to where you actually belong which in turn makes them question your output. Choose a field you are best in and apply that's the best. They need not put a sign warning people against multiple applications but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be enforced.

The openings are strictly for level 8 which means ur HND is the appropriate certificate u should apply with not ur ND but in a situation where u are submitting application with ND as highest level of education, then details of ur HND or any other higher qualification(s) above ND should not reflect in ur CV.

I doubt the ncs hiring manager will seat down and start monitoring who applied twice and based on this disqualify people. This is the Federal govt we are talking about not a private firm. Na who sabi people pass last and grace last go get in, nothing like common sense here. The crowd is too much!! 500,000 applicant or what again for how many slot.
That same common sense is what u independently said that said dat u should apply for a course that is not ur course EVEN THOUGH THEY CLEARLY STATED THAT APPLY WITH THOSE QUALIFICATIONS. From a reliable source though the portal would be open soon again for general duty, don't quote me though na from here say.. But hopefully sha

There are softwares that screens candidates , not hr departments. The software is coded to pick relevant information from the document uploaded and rate the candidates with it.
The are some jobs applications online where u submit your cv, u will see yr name even phone number populated on the same page without inputting them, u may do little correction like name format etc.

To the new applicants, make sure your cv is well structured and contains detailed information like
Degree obtained
Age
NAME of higher institution
Etc.

Large applications review is not handled by human beings. A software does they review for the organization and sends messages to the selected applicants for the next stage
