Make we look for buyer asap before he pull ozil on us
We may likely sell him during AFCON.

I honestly don't want to see him pocket as much as quarter of a million pounds only to sit on the bench; neither do I want to see him relegated to the bench while we are losing money paid as his weekly wages.

Although getting a buyer who plays regularly in UCL( which I know will be his preference when choosing his next club) might be difficult, but make we do everything possible to sell him sha. Na wetin go make my mind cool be dat

I am concern about his salary who will agree to pay unless he is willing to take paycut

If he still wants to continue playing competitive football at least in Europe, he will have no choice but to take a paycut. Except he's lucky the former Barcelona president finds his way to another European club and adds him to a list of unnecessary signings he's made in his lifetime.

I just did, pepe v xhaka
both collected stupid red card against teams we can beat
We drew the game pepe got sent off, you threw pepe out and accused him of sabotaging the team forcing him to apologized we drew the game away against leeds
On xhaka's case we lost the game at home against soton you went ahead to embrace xhaka even when the fans and team want apology for his stupidity nothing was done.
After pepe served his suspension he wasn't use for some time while xhaka was bought in immediately after his suspension
These cases cannot be compared to that of Auba. On the pitch acts of indiscipline are dealt with by the ref. Acts of indiscipline within the squad or inside the dressing room are regarded as gross misconducts.

However fairness and justice must be used at all times.

Also can he pass a message in english for his teammates to understand, i think only gabu and pepe don't speak english
you've a point. His inability to speak English is the major issue

Abi !

I just read this is his 3rd disciplinary breach . Imagine a captain in the space of less than 2 years being the captain has had as much as 3 disciplinary breaches recorded against him.

Which leader be that ? In February he breached the covid-19 rule just to get a tattoo. Which kind example is that from a leader ?

Let’s hope the club will select a more stable person with leadership qualities as our next skipper . Auba’s watch has ended !
i nominate thomas partey

Over!

Partey will spend more days being injured than being a captain.

No
He wasn't scoring as usual na, auba has never had it good with scoring since Arteta take over
No be Arteta that threw Pepe under the bus for a red card that we drew the game and pampered xhaka for a red that we lost
Lol... How can you forget so soon?? He was scoring consistently in the league that we finished 8th.. In fact, he was practically our only goalscorer then. And that wasn't enough, he topped it up with double goals in semi final and final in the fa cup.

You think arsenal will give him that big contract if he wasn't carrying our goal burden?

I don't know where this tattoo issue is really coming from
Lol.. You think Arteta will just bring up the tattoo issue, so that papers, journalist and bloggers will create unnecessary money this month? Even when auba missed TottenHam game, he didn't say it was traffic, it was arsenal news that leaked it(stuff like that must always leak).

Aside his issue with xhaka and Pepe brouhaha then and Willian favoritism, I think Arteta has been fair all these while.

All credible sources (BBC,skysports) reported him going to France to pick his mother, where did you guys get the tattoo case from
The only thing he did was not returning at the agreed time

This Una tattoo case is false and you are all judging him with it

The tattoo case was in February ; that was his second infraction not this third one.

Well, there's a picture that proved it that's why.

Anyways, I don't believe just coming late will make auba lose his captainship except there's something they're not telling us

Blueraydick just confirmed that was in feburary, i hope you are getting my point when i said arteta is an asshole
Right now, the only valid reason was because he came late but still meet up with training

U are not getting the point . Aubameyang was made captain like 2 years ago or thereabouts. During these period he’s had 3 indiscipline issues that does not portray him to be a good example as a leader.

A football club is like a company where most of us work. There are rules , do’s and don’ts. In ur work place I’m sure u don’t miss work except u are on leave or sick that makes u unable to work at all. If u must miss work for reasons other than the aforementioned, then u must take a special permission which ur superiors might give on compassionate grounds but u must adhere strictly to whatever conditions is attached.

Auba was granted leave to go pick his mum , he was expected to be back by Wednesday but he didn’t return . That’s a breach which the club believes is typical of Auba who is known to have shown flagrant disregard for the club rules and protocols. Simply put , the club punished him for all the infractions at once being a 3rd time offender .

The one of February is different from the one that surfaced days ago from the tattooist Instagram page, except of course he still posted the one of February on his insta page last week.

Well, in the coming weeks, we'll know all the real stories

The truth is there is more to this story than we are hearing or seeing
This guy went to pick his mother not just anyone, if something happen along the way i am sure they won't be expecting him soon, we are just judging him base on he's an habitual late comer or he have 2 offences before, no one knows if he have delay in flight due to weather or anything to make him come late.

Almost the same happened to saliba when he lost his mom, he went to france spent more than he was given, arteta put him up in a match and concluded he wasn't ready he doesn't even know if the boy have recovered losing his mother
I don't like auba especially now that he's useless to us but that arteta is not innocent kankan, no wonder he couldn't say the real reason for punishing auba

To many theories here and there. I don taya for the whole mata.

But could this have been handled a better way? Yes?

Could he have been offloaded without noise like Wojiech that year? Yeah

Is this how Arteta wants to keep doing things? Probably.

Like a repeat of Yaya vs Pep.

Too inevitable.

Much hilarious if Odegaard is new captain. Gabriel would have been a better choice, unless he refused respectfully.

I hate that noise that's not sweet always come from Emirates. Maybe they need a Conte or Mou.

Do we really have captaincy curse here

Ya asking again? Even without the article, its like something every coach in arsenal should expect.

The fans insatiable curve is higher than the loyalty the players are showing, even in sincerity. Which falls back to the owners. If they at least somewhere back in top 4, and with a Coach and valuable players that are in the mould of Sanchez, Santi, RVP, then things will balance out.

Arsenal needs feel like home again. Notice most of the curse coincided with needing to depart the club. I think most don't feel its home due to lots of factors. Pro or not,a footballer need it.

But the club is on a long thing, both back and forth.

Vierra is last captain before curse start.
