I was told by an insider that the list will soon be out.. that they are trying to make
up the candidates to 5000 due to the fact that all the persons screened were not
up to the 5000 needed...
6,500 persons were expected to be at the screening center across the zonal
commands but due to lack of information, and other reasons made some persons
not to appear at the screening centers.. so some top officials are trying to make
up the list with people that applied but didn't make it to the certificate vetting to
compile the final list... and in the process the u-tide made it to delay small..
training will start next year Jan/Feb. Let us stop posting fake news.. only verified
information should be posted, my advice..!

But this excessively long and indefinite delay speaks volume about Nigeria and its institutions.

Nigeria is just survival of the fittest.

Oga Dannyxy thank you for keeping us abreast of any development.
But I don't know why something in me keeps laughing when I see people talking about organising any nigerian institution.

Prospective officers that are desperately looking for a government job where they can earn a living and escape the severe frustration and hardship in Nigeria, and somehow secure the future of their children, na them go come organize NSCDC??

Really... this message is simple to understand....

It means the board has given the go ahead for NSCDC to commence documentation and training, but the CG wants to tidy up the list by making sure he gets 5k complete...

Some applicants has gotten employment with NIS, NDLEA, Custom and other Govt agencies... while some got better offer in the private sector and few left the country...

The CG is trying to be more organized and he should be fast about this recruitment... I’m a junior software engineer, if I get any offer from Europe or America I’m saying bye bye to NSCDC...

When I told u guys that d CG is the one holding the List, everyone here almost killed me with words, some said..Bros u don't know anything, na the board the do recruitment...if only u guys know the power that CG has. Nobody can do anything without his permission for now
