Pls make sure your mechanic is someone that is trustworthy so he wouldn't get you sumtin that you will be patronizing him every week. You personally shld check the engine compartment carefully check if the fan has been run directly. Drive and listen carefully to the engine and make sure the gear selects properly.

Very very sweet and responsive to drive, never owned one so can’t say anything about the reliability/maintenance...

The one I drove belonged to a very comfortable friend but I strongly suggest you go with a very good mechanic who’ll scan the car also for any hidden traps

If you lose that car...chances are slim you'll get one as good as it...

Owner hardly used it

Avoid visiting with a Kazeem, that would just kick tyres and ask to raise the accelerator (whilst gauging the exhaust smoke)............. grin

Visit with a technician with proper tools, not just spanners.......... grin

Just spend 30k carry our own Gazzus go there. He's professional, blunt and sincere. For a car like this your margin for error is zero, zero bro. And remember as some have rightly noted, this car doesn't hold much resale value. All the best

This is the only Nissan/Infiniti I like.

I don't mind buying it. I have driven it but it wasn't mine. I love the handling etc. But you must not have a Corrola fuel mindset to buy an FX.

The latest Patrol got me drooling too.

Current stats:
Engine price (4x4) - 400,000
Gear- 270,000

Tires - 35k (brand new - you can't drive this and use tokunbo)

Be careful, e fit short oil if.... .

It usually has electrical problems (driver door may not work with age, fuel gauge gets bad easily, dashboard needs to be refurbished or covered with dashmats, etc

I have been driving an infinity fx35 2008 model v6 for 3 years now. Bro thr ride make sense but if u are looking for fuel economical, pls don't go for fx35. The mechanical parts are damm so cheap. Just try as much as u can to avoid any damage on the headlamps, both front and back bumber because they are expensive. Avoid the V8 model.. U will sure enjoy d ride

How are they electrical components faring ,and coupled with the fact that its fast .does it have oil shortening problems ?

What else do you not like about the car apart from the head light and rare light issues

My brother every car has its coins and pros and secrets. Many people here complain that infiniti fx35 always have electrical issue and I believe they say that out of experience. My advice based on experience if u want to enjoy fx35 is this, 1st once u buy it, remove that follow come key nob suck and chance it to normal key without nob suck. 2nd,make sure fuel doesn't dry up (I mean driving ya car till fuel finishes) this pushed dirt to the fuel pump. 3rd, make sure the catalyst converters are in good shape. 4th,use recommended engine oil which is 5W30 and its clearly written on the infiniti fx35 manual guide. At any time u change engine oil, change filter and pls make sure u avoid engine oil topping at all cost. Some mechanics will advice u to top oil but pls don't listen to them.make sure u buy original Belgium front linkages, don't buy new ones because if u buy new ones it will always break since the weight of that fx dey front. Bear it in mind that fx35 get weight ooo.. Use quality filter and lastly don't accelerate much ooo because fx35 dey speed like mad oo

No oil shortage unless there is an issue with the fx
