The nation has been more peaceful since the Twitter ban.

No idiot can use the platform to spread fakenews, incite the public and coordinate widespread destruction like it was done during Endsars protest.

It's the same clowns that used Twitter to propagate their trash that are still complaining.

Use VPN and spread your filth anongst American audiences now.
You are stylishly right, the ban is bad but it seems we are more at peace

They will be cooking up numbers because of one American company. It is not as if Twitter is paying tax or they are paying Nigerians. Nigerians are the ones spending all their time and money on the platform.

I am sure Nigeria should have lost a quadrillion dollars because of twitter ban by the end of 2022 grin

Before them, we live and country is making money. If your livelihood is base on Twitter existence and or other social media, better think twice before you lose everything you have. F**k Twitter Facebook and all of them.

Can people see why it's hard discussing with half brained people on the internet?

I'm talking about how destructive people used Twitter to spread fakenews and nearly destroy the nation........... just look at what this doofus replied with.

Sanwoolu was at the protest. it was peaceful until government send soldiers. Was the endsars people that burnt Orile police station. The level of education of people like you is questionable.
If I probe further, I am sure you are secretly using VPN to defend your pay masters. Even Bashir still uses twiter once in a while. Why are you people always afraid of truth!

Those whose business is on Twitter are still on Twitter! The ban is cosmetics. Anybody that want to be on Twitter is on Twitter at the moment. How exactly is Nigeria losing? Did Twitter ever paid a Kobo in tax to any govt at any level?

The dream of every company is to expand. The more you expand the more money you make. Twitter is doing fine, but they are also losing a lots of money. Infact they are loosing more money than Nigeria. Nigeria has more population than any other countries in africa. So as far as Africa is concern, Twitter needs Nigerian market. Our population is the key.

Twitter's fear is that, if they agree to the Fed govt terms & conditions, other countries may want to follow suit. Which will automatically reduce their income. Imagine twitter paying tax in every country where they operate.

Thank God eye witnesses are still alive!
When did "protesters" attack Orile Police Station? Was it before the soldiers were deployed or after? The attack and arson committed by "protesters" at Orile were "peaceful"?
The Orile arsonist were also protesters! That was what always happens. If protest is prolonged, it will be highjacked and turn violent! In fact, it was the Orile incidence that led Lagos State Government to declare a curfew. That curfew was a lawful order by a lawful government. Disobedience of a lawful order is a crime. Are criminals peaceful?
There are reports and videos of protesters armed with guns and shooting at security agents. That is peaceful?
Even at the Toll gate, the moment there was disturbance of free flow of traffic by protesters, the protests stopper being peaceful! Or is it that you don't know what peace mean?
If you want to have a peaceful protest, you won't disturb anybody. That is what makes it peaceful. The moment you disturb anybody or business, you are no longer peaceful
