How Can I Polish My 1998 Toyota RAV4 Dashboard by kennybabs1980(op): 9:04pm On Dec 25, 2021
My 1998 Toyota RAV4 Dashboard looks so old and unattractive. It's my workhorse and serves so well. I have another car but I've gotten so used to this old RAV4 in recent times and since I now drive it around especially to work, I wish to modernise it a bit.
I was told the dashboard can be polished or painted to smoothen and beautify it. Who does this pls? Car painters or who?

Again, the power steering fluid keep getting exhausted in the cup. I tried to find out where it's leaking but couldn't. Once the oil finishes from the cup, the steering stiffens up and its as if one is driving the old timber lorry. Pls help me.

I suggest you do away with that artifact you are driving. That motor is almost 25 years old. A 25 yr old person should be married with kids by now.

Somebody like you may not even own a bicycle tyre! This car you call a 25 year old car can take it's owner from one place to another conveniently. A 2021 car can take it's owner from one place to another, although faster, but it cannot fly like a jet.

So, there is no big deal driving a 25 year old car. In developed countries, wealthy people still drive Citroens, Rolls Royce, Cadillacs and Ferraris assembled in the 1960s.

When I visited Cambridge in England, I was surprised to see as many people riding bicycles to work as those driving small economic cars to work. Oyinbo people no send you!

So, Oga just mind your business and let other people live their lives the way they want, and drive the type of cars they want to drive.

Anyone that’s good with spraying vehicles, can re-spray the RAV4 dashboard, and it will be shining like a new one
