I am not against the Super League, but I believe it's not time yet. Yes, Laliga needs a more glamorous event to throw it into the same limelight as the EPL, but that should affect the whole league and not only the big shots. The moment that " segregation" comes to play, then it's clear money is the only motive here and not a way to increase competitiveness.
Yeahh Laliga is actually skewed for the big shots. No matter what Real Sociedad does for a particular season, Valencia will always earn more than them. I prefer the Premier league style where difference in payments from TV rights is not too dissimilar from top to bottom and earnings are based on your seasonal performances, like where you finished in the league position.

For Spain, Barca and Madrid always neck and neck at the top of th earning, regardless of their position at the end of the season. Granted, Barca and Madrid always finish in the top 3 for the past 15 years but it shouldn't be a given.

I like this. This is strange, coming from a Real Madrid fan. It is sad that most Madrid fans here can't engage in simple, serious conversation. Most only know about trolling and trolling, and dropping meme for every line of sentence they manage to construct. angry shocked
Trolling has its place in sports discussion especially when it's between rivals

Coming back to your discussion, do you think Super League can happen without the EPL teams? I don't think it can.
it was supposed to happen with EPL teams
Remember they all quickly withdrew when Perez floated the league.
EPL teams actually signed up for the superleague, it was a combination of fan backlash and they realising they don't need it that made them opt out
EPL don't need the Super League. EPL TV right deals for 2022-2025 stands at £4.8bn, more than 3 times Laliga is going to make for same period. Aston Villa finished 17th in the league 2019/2020 season but still earned a mammoth £106.1m from the TV deals. Liverpool won the Premier league and earned £174.6m. In that same season, Valencia was the 4th largest earner in Laliga yet earned 82.2 million euros.

This just reinforces your points. cool

But from my opinion, super league cannot happen without the premier league clubs. Bayern and PSG are not even part of it. So you're left with only Spanish and Italians.

The league should become more innovative and find ways to raise the money they needed to attract big talents and compete with the premier league. Maybe clubs like Barca should start looking at how to move away from Supporter's ownership base. Look for investors that can bring in the money, otherwise the likes of Aston villa will come and take away Ansu Fati and other stars.
That's the problem though, football is meant for the fans and the fans only.

.

And you first had to throw banter to accuse others of throwing banter. Your logic is funny. You only get what you give out.

I can't explain it, but I know that England is just more glamorous than Spain and this really affects the leagues.

No matter the investment innovations, England will always attract bigger investment deals.

Something unconventional must be done to inject attraction and sponsorship deals into LaLiga.

They got here first that's all.

Just imagine another 'Facebook' coming out right now.

Far back early 2000s if not for UCL millions of Nigerians will still probably not hear anything about Real Madrid or Barcelona. Meanwhile at those old days we were already watching Premier League matches back to back.

I really don't believe that. Those two you mentioned are great, but they had their breakout which I think others would also do. Besides, if Fati can come in strong and manage injuries, then I think he might be gunning for that too.
If Fati continues his development as the rate he's going he'll be a future great, Haaland and mbappe are also established and more juicy in the eyes of fans and the media, If you want to argue on his cause all those stat fanatics would push him aside rather than relying on eye test, Injuries halted his progress, so at 19 much pressure shouldn't be put on him, The talent is there so let's just let him develop at his own pace

Sure.

Plus, England is more glamorous in almost everything than Spain is. That counts for something.

English is also the language of business, I hope you know.

a "superleague" would happen wether you want it or not.

It's either clubs come together to form the superleague OR EPL becomes the superleague and it's a pity laliga fans can't see what's happening right before their eyes. Raphinha left Rennes who are to play in UEFA champions League for a Leeds United who just came from relegation. Rodrigo Moreno left Valencia who usually finish high in laliga to a Leeds who just came from relegation
Boubakary Soumaré left Lille who has just won the French league against all odds and had automatically qualified for UCL for a Leicester City who are to play in Europa League

Perez has seen the future which is why he tried to stem the tide by creating the superleague which would enable many other clubs from other countries to have the power England is about to have.
It doesn't sound bad right now cuz it's Rennes, Lille, Leipzig, the whole of Netherlands, Laliga clubs asides ATM, Barca, Real, All bundesliga clubs asides Bayern etc that are selling all their good players to relegation tier EPL clubs but the future will change that. as EPL TV rights gets more and more bigger and they have more and more monies to spend you'd soon get to a point where the best Barcelona player would leave the club to sign for a team that just gained promotion to EPL, suddenly Real Madrid joins the list, Bayern does too. then there would be no reason for neutrals to pay attention to other leagues as they would be like feeder leagues to the England "Superleague". all leagues would then be a stepping stone to get to EPL and that's when what Perez has been talking about would make sense to many. he might not be in that seat by then. he might even be dead but I'm pretty certain he'd be proven right
Newcastle is currently the richest club in the world even with some good history, yet they are struggling to attract players cause of their relegation dogfight, Truly England has the best league TV deals, sponsors, marketing and the major weapon which they have which is the language, no matter what any other league does, whether super league or not, you can't beat the English, Check out most of those talented players that are in relegation tier teams, either they move up to the big boys or they go to bigger clubs in Europe The allure and prestige most times push the players, Raphinha is going to move to tight spending bayern for 50m, I doubt they get more tv rights cash than even Leeds yet he left, the big clubs will always find a way even if they don't spend 100m+ every season, As for the super league would it not still be the biggest clubs in Europe that would join, So if say Liverpool earn £150m in their league and collect 500m alongside Juventus, Dortmund, Atletico Madrid who'll have more spending power if there's a bidding war for a budding talent? Rn you can't beat the English in cash Super league or no Super league except maybe they somehow get 20 sheikhs or undercover drug Lords who would come and take over the 20 clubs in Spain

This is misleading, Newcastle just got taken over after the season had started and they've had no transfer window. so what players were they meant to have attracted? also Rome wasn't built in a day. Man city even when they got taken over by billionaires spent some years buying average expensive players before they got to where they are now, Chelsea spent some times after being taken over by Roman Abramovic before they started doing well even though they were always around top 6 before the takeover. Give it some time and Newcastle would be rubbing shoulders with European top dogs in terms of attracting players just like Man City and Chelsea are doing

Like I said. it's either clubs form the superleague or watch EPL become the superleague either way, superleague is inevitable

Even if they do that, Barca, Madrid, atletico and to an extent Sevilla would still get better deals in the transfer market, There's a lot of things that go into football management that means not just every money you get go into transfers, Chelsea have an oligarch, City are funded with oil money, United have the billionaire glazer family, Liverpool have Fenway sports group with some celebs having shares in the club plus these clubs I mentioned have decent recent history than the others so even if the smaller clubs get their usual profit, if the bigger clubs come for their talents it's almost a given they'll move, If them like let them divide everything so everybody would eat equally, it would only make the league competitive but the big boys will still rule, they always find a way

Newcastle of course will be a super team in a few years time, but from this your post above, once can easily see the direction you're heading, With their recent takeover many expected them to suddenly snap up players due to their recent cash influx, Conte rejected them, unai emery did same, some players have openly distanced themselves from them, They can pay x5 of Coutinho's wages but he said he's not going, Dembele snubbed them to remain at debt ridden Barca, Football management doesn't just work like that, So are you going to tell me clubs like Norwich and Middleborough will comfortably offer a player 300-400k weekly wages in a few years time to lure a player grin, So what would happen to other aspects of the club, As for the EPL super league debacle they'll surely remain the best league except something changes, it's left for other leagues to find alternative sources of income to push their leagues forward, And need I remind you that upon everything they'll still have their normal limited slots for those who'll play in the UCL

The man still has it in him.
He is surely going to help us retain top 4 spot and the UEFA cup.

In front of goal, he is 1 billion times better than demphay.

Mallorca have seven positive cases of COVID-19 among their squad. We have 3 so far, with other absentees.

Surely this game should be postponed

Ferran Torres : A talented forward who can play in 3 positions, fast, good at dribbling & running into space, ambitious, young but already w/ experience at the high level (UCL, Euro, EPL), knows LaLiga & several players in the squad.

I think Mateu Alemany did a good job here.
