FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of Ferran Torres.

The player has signed a contract for the next five seasons, until 30 June 2027, and his buyout clause has been set at 1,000 million euros.

Well it's a step at moving forward because to me ó, barca's major problem isn't their attack, but their defence and midfield. Imagine having pique, lenglet and ter-stegen in your defence and u expect not to concede goals. You're in for a long thing. About 70% of the squad need to be sold.

I still wonder what type of charm that pique guy is using. He's worse than maguire.

There major issue is attack.
Everyone knows Barca almost always do not boast of a great defense. Even when they were dominating every club possible.

Before Messi left, they were conceding a lot but were also scoring a lot. You needed to score a minimum of 2goals to win them or get a draw. But now, with just a goal, you can win. Played 6 group stage games and scored just 2 goals. The only team not to score against Bayern (both legs) in the group.

Bro that's because of the crisis in their attack, aguero was forced to retire, dembele Don turn to broiler (he'll play 2 matches and be out for 4 months). Fati too has been inconsistent, same as coutinho. But imagine if they were fit, they'll still need to balance things at the back...definitely not with that type of defence.

Messi did all he could but the defence is the reason he didn't win important trophies last season.

Imagine still using the same defence that conceded 8 goals in the biggest competition in europe. A serious club would have replaced them by now.
